PLOT A group of Archaeologist found an underground entrance in Niflheim and saw the Undead King trying to reach the Rune-Midgard and wreck havoc upon it INSTRUCTIONS Head out to nif_fild01 (179, 61) and you will see a group of Archaeologist, talk to the Archaeologists to trigger the instance. After entering the instance, you need to talk to Ulysses fletcher who is hiding. He then, will tell you that one of the monsters is keeping the spare key to enter the next area. And his sister has been abducted and locked in prison. In the next map, locate the prison room by entering the doors along the stairs. (Note: You can kill all monsters for the quest costume requirement drop or try to find the prison and save Elouise Fletcher right away.) After saving Elouise and grabbing the treasure room key, Proceed to the treasure room to either get the treasure or proceed to hunting down the Undead King. Defeating the Undead king will conclude the instance and a treasure chest will spawn for the members to roll for the loots inside. NOTE: The exclusive items that can be found in this instance can be used to create 2 new Halloween costumes. *** There's a 24hrs cooldown*** *** Premium gears are disabled inside the instance map.*** Halloween Questable Costumes Players can get the special items from the instance and trade all of the required materials to Pumpkinring thats roaming around Niflheim(just make sure that you have a halloween candy in your inventory) 1.) Halloween Event 2023 -Trick or Treat! Overview This is a trick-or-treating event where players can talk to various NPCs to get candies which can be traded in for prizes. The various NPCs are scattered around Niflheim (@go 13) and its 2 adjacent fields. This event will last until December 10, 2023 at 11:59 PM server time. How to Participate Note: A player can use maximum of 5 accounts only, including the "main" account. Anyone caught using more than the allowed number of accounts will be punished. First, warp to Niflheim (@go 13). Somewhere on the map is a Pumpkinring monster. It looks like a poring shaped pumpkin. It moves around the whole town nonstop, so the first challenge will be to actually find out where it is. After speaking to it, it will give you a Scary Costume item. The Scary Costume expires at midnight game time. When it expires, just talk to the Pumpkinring to get a new one (Make sure you have no Halloween Candy in your inventory to be able to receive Scary Costume). After you have obtained your costume, you may start trick-or-treating the other NPCs. There are 24 NPCs named "Halloween" and 24 named "Grumpy". They look like various Halloween monsters (Example: Halloween Quve, Grumpy Loli Ruri). Find the 24 "Halloween _____" monsters that have been scattered around Niflheim and its 2 fields. When you find one, say "Trick or Treat!" in public chat. The NPCs will either Trick you, or Treat you. If you are tricked, you will get various negative effects (Mute, Blind, Poison, etc). If you are treated, you will get various treats (1-3 Halloween Candy, Baby Boo Sack, etc). But as the Doram and carnival goers indulged over sushi and catnip, a sinister red aura crept closer to Lasagna. Before anyone realised, it had enveloped the skies and the land. Then, the malevolent servants of the Pasta Lady befell upon the land, catching everyone by surprise! Most could flee amid the chaos but some did not manage to escape. Most notably some of the Carnival employees remained trapped in Lasagna. Adventurers, we must now regroup and mount an offensive to retake Lasagna. Tarunyan will be present at Prontera to recruit adventurers. Once you have agreed to join the resistance, you must wait every ODD HOUR + 42 MINUTES on Server Time for Tarunyan's announcement. Hello Midgardians! Once again we're opening the door for new GM Applications! We are currently understaffed and looking for active people to be one of our RevivalRO family members, slaves staff. Although the positions that we are looking for are currently volunteer based, we will require anyone selected to have a considerable amount of time dedicated to the position given to them. Please keep that in mind during all the stages of the application process, make sure that you are willing, and that you will be able to commit to a position before applying for one. Also know that applying to become a GM does NOT guarantee that you will be selected. Asking any staff member for assistance when answering any of the questions on your application WILL result in disqualification. Follow all of the instructions when applying, details are important. Do not skip steps or cut corners, we will overlook your application as a result. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): Do I need to be 18 years of age or older to apply? No, however -- being 13+ would certainly help your case (COPPA, and all). We care about mental maturity more than we do about physical maturity. Also, the fact that you are allegedly over 13 when you agreed to play this game. How many hours do I need to work?! Ideally we expect you to be around at least 2 continuous hours per day, but it can be flexible. The requirement here is that you can be relied upon when needed. This is NOT just a "do it when I feel like it" thing. By applying to be a GM, you are saying that you are willing to ACTIVELY make time in your day to meet various GM-related responsibilities for as long as foreseeably possible. List your availability based on your regular life--not on your breaks or vacation days or anything else. Moreover, if you don't have the time or will to dedicate to a position, then it's better not to apply. What is availability, and how do I fill it out? Essentially, it is the amount of time per day/week that you'd be willing to devote to GMing. Just because you're free, that doesn't mean you'll be GMing automatically. You should also take into account things like traveling time, meals, study time, family or social time, etc. You need to be realistic over long term with this, because if you put you are available to GM 80 hours a week, we'll be assuming that you're full of shit. Does GMing get me chicks/dudes? Does it make me popular? If only. Most of the things that would actively get you chicks/dudes are forbidden--as in, we have rules against giving out free stuff and haxing stats and whatnot, so if you're going to apply just for the attention/chicks/dudes--don't bother. It is also forbidden to reveal confidential information regarding anything discussed as a GM. Do I have to stop playing my current character/account? At the moment, no. However, if you get accepted as a GM candidate, most likely your time on your legit will plummet. You will have to distance yourself from your friends or guild a least a little. GMing always comes before regular playing, no matter how hard you want to WoE at the time. Thus, if you are extremely active in your guild/with your friends and are unwilling to put that second in your RO life, you should not apply. However, if we find your performance as a GM unsatisfactory, especially because of your legit or if our rules change, we do reserve the right to either suspend your legit until your quality of conduct improves, or simply remove you from the team. Also since this is said, being a GM means you can't be a leader, or in a lead position in any WoE Guilds. How much time do I need in order to properly GM? If you're logged into RO in any capacity, you are expected to be ready to GM. It's pretty hard to say because of that, since some days are busier than others. But basically, consider it similar to being a receptionist. After you finish your basic duties and paper work, you can be at the desk doing whatever, but as soon as someone steps foot inside the building, you need to attend to them. Whether you consider your idle time as GMing time is up to you. We're not going to give a concrete requirement because that varies widely with the job, and we try our best to be flexible. Should I embellish my application, leave out critical information, or essentially lie in order to be selected? No. We've been doing these applications long enough to tell when someone is lying about what their hours are, how dedicated they can be, etc. The best thing to do is to just be honest--but still professional. Seriously, anytime someone says something like "My only weakness is that I work too hard!" we roll our eyes hard enough that they're in danger of popping out of our heads. Are there any other requirements to be a GM that I may be unaware of? Aside from certain secret special things we look for, you must be fluent in English and willing to type at least semi-properly, this is an English speaking server, so that is a MUST--it is also a must to successfully complete the application. Moreover, you should have a fairly clean slate. That is not to say that if you've ever been warned or banned, ever, we won't accept you, but having a history of being drama bait, being disrespectful, being inflammatory, or otherwise breaking rules will make us hesitate rather hard to hire you. It would also help if you knew RO, especially the gameplay of Loki. How many positions are you looking to fill? We generally hire as many people as we can that fit all required criteria. There really isn't a hard cap, if your application is solid and you ace through the interviews, we'll hire as many qualified people as we can. I donated a lot of money to the server, that will automatically make me a GM right? No. We don't care how much money you invested into your account--that has little to do with how good of a GM you could be. How much will this position pay? GMing is its own reward a volunteer position and we do not offer monetary compensation. When will I be notified that I have been selected to be a GM? If we choose to pick you as a candidate, you will know at the same time as all the other candidates. Do not use a fake/full/crappy email for this, because you will be out of luck. This is a group event which is available for everyone, where players will get rewards after working together to defeat the World Boss. MVP Monsters that we all "love" and "hate" has once again found their way to invade our world! What is World Boss? The recent occurrence of inter-dimensional cracks had not only created passageways from the Abyss Depths. Fallen souls of monarchs from worlds beyond our own had managed to break through, manifesting themselves as "World Bosses". Though they resemble regular creatures of our world, they are extremely strong. And dangerous. They seek out weak points of the seals that protect our world, and sometimes, they manage to break through. The vigils of Rune Midgard will keep close watch on these occurrences and announce their arrival to all of Rune Midgard. All Rune Midgardians must arise and unite to repel these evil forces back to the depths from which they came. How to participate? An announcement will appear informing that the World Boss will spawn in a random town. To participate, players need to find the World Boss in the town where it spawned. Once the World Boss was found, players need to eliminate the Boss as fast as possible. When the World Boss got eliminated, the participating players will receive random loots as rewards. What kind of MVP Monsters? There are different strong MVP monsters that will spawn, to name a few: Leviathan King Poring Strong Baphomet Strong Golden Thief Bug Strong Drake And a lot more to come... Hello Midgardians! For this year's Halloween Event, we will be doing a re-run of Abyss Rift! This event will end on November 30 at 11:59 PM Server Time. UPDATE for 2022 Abyss Event - NEW COSTUMES 1) Costume: Lamia's Krilo (Garment) 2) Costume: Abnock's Corium (Upper) 3) Costume: Midnight Candle (Mid) Note: These 3 costumes are added in the drops of the treasure chests. Event Mechanics: There are strange pits appearing in Rune-Midgard's fields. It's seems to be connected to the Netherworld. If you step on it... spirits come out! Find a Nether Pit. *** Pits respawn every 15 minutes.*** Solo or with a party, fight off the waves of spirits that will come out to attack you! *** There are 4 to 6 number of waves, plus the boss. For all difficulties, you have 45 seconds to fight the waves and 10 seconds to walk to the next point.*** When a wave is done, follow the yellow path to find out where more spirits are hiding and kill them. *** The yellow path shows only to the person who triggered the pits and no one else. If you're in a party, make sure to follow the person who triggered it.*** Kill the final boss. *** When the waves are done, a treasure chest appears*** Get loots! For this year, below are some adjustments made for this event: 1) @jump skill is now enabled. 2) Angra Manyu and Ahura Mazda are disabled. 3) Disable party invite once the Nether Pit is activated. And party member/s can't leave the party inside the event maps. 4) All party members should be available within the pit's visibility in order to activate it. What is P2P Donation System? This is our newest donation system which can be done ingame. A mode of donating via P2P Certificate which is a currency use in the P2P transaction. A Donation P2P NPC is set-up at Hub (140, 264) where players can trade, set-up methods of payment, find list of traders etc. One (1) P2P Certificate is equivalent to 100 Premium Points (1 Credit). The P2P Certificates can be bought from the accredited Traders. Who are these Traders? They are the players who will buy the bundles from us at a wholesale price and sell the P2P certificates with real money. These are the players who registered their accounts to legally sell P2P Certificates. How to become a Trader? Interested players can apply through the link below: https://forms.gle/JzWU48awZdryJ8it8 How does P2P Donation System work? Interested buyer will talk to Donation P2P NPC at Hub (140, 264) and find the available(online) Trader. Needs to choose Trade option from the NPC Select Donate via P2P. Proceed with P2P and input the amount you would like to donate. After selecting the available method, take a screenshot of the transaction made via the chat window. Buyer will then make a payment and type @sent after payment is made. Wait for trader's verification and approval. Claim the Premium Points thru Zotar. Note: Players can access the NPC by using @p2p command Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): 1) Is this system safe? Yes, it is. Aside from the fact that Traders are legally accredited, he/she can only use the Donation P2P NPC to transfer the certificates and each transaction is logged. 2) Who will benefit this new donation system? Players who don't want to use their credit/debit cards. Players who don't have access to a credit/debit card. Players who are only using mobile payments. Players who wish to have extra income. 3) How will the Traders buy the P2P Certificate bundle from us? There is only option: Paypal 4) Will the traders get the donor level points and donor boxes after buying the bundle? No. Only the buyers of the P2P Certificate will receive the donor level exp. and donor boxes (depending on the current donor box exchange rate and if applicable). Dear Players, Refund Policy on purchasing Premium Gears/Weapons has been updated. We now offer refund within the six (6) hours of your purchase full Premium Points (PP). If first 6 hours have passed and within 3 days since your purchase, you will not be offered a full PP refund and/or exchange of any kind, instead you will get a Limited Premium Points (LPP) equivalent to the cost of the item purchased. Below are certain CONDITIONS that must be strictly followed/considered: Players are entitled to a full PP refund if the player filed a return request within 6 hours of purchase through Web Helpdesk. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Thus, a player needs to take SCREENSHOT that includes DATE & TIME then submit it through web helpdesk. Note that this is required to know the time difference between the server and the player's local time. Only regular priced items and newly released items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded within the 6 hours period of purchase. The 6 hour return policy is irrevocable. In case the player decided to cancel the 6 hours return policy request, the GM team will STILL proceed the return policy under 3 day refund policy. Meaning, it will be refunded as LPP. Players need to talk to the NPC and answer all the questions correctly in order to claim the Rookie Package. Requirements to get the Rookie Package: 1) Player must be max level (255/120). 2) Should have claimed Newbie Package from Newbie Package NPC after creating a new character.
