  1. ========== For Honor and Glory. War of Emperium ... and you ========== War of Emperium is a PvP (GvG) oriented content, in which Guilds fight on special Castle maps for the ownership of said castles by breaking the Emperium in it. ========== The Basics ========== ====== The Guild ===== Guilds can be created by pressing ALT+G. You will see a pop up that will ask you to name your guild. Make sure you also have an Emperium in your inventory! Once you did this, you will be greeted with the Guild Window. It contains all important information about your guild. Guild Name, Guild lvl (max be 50), Clan Master Name (Guild Leader), Number of members (max be 16) and their average Level and the the Castles the guild owns. Tendancy is not important since it is not used in game. Alliances and Antagonists are removed in RevivalRO, due the less competition. Usually you could set up to 3 Alliances and Antagonists. > Alliances: During WoE, those guildes and their members are friendly towards you, they will not attack you and fight along side with you. You can also set a Emblem for your guild. They have a maximum size of 24x24 pixel, the color hot pink (R 255, B 255, G 0) will be displayed transparent in game, the image extension is '.bmp'. Emblems are saved in the game folder in the sub folder "Emblem". The next tab contains the guild member information. Here you can see who is in your guild and if they are online. In this tab you can also set the different "Position" names (also knows as Titles) for each member. Right Click on a member gives you different option. If you got the power, you can expel them or set them as Guild Leader. You can also invite them directly to your party (this comes handy when you need to invite someone quick and don't want the hassle of writing). In the Position tab you can set the different "Position Titles", or short just "Titles". There are 50 free spaces to use (0 being the Guild Leaders; 49 the default Title every new invited member gets). You can also set the rights every person with that Title has. Invitation allows them to invite people into the guild, Punish allows them to kick people from the guild (expect the Guild Leader). Storage allows people to access the guilds own storage. This storage has 600 space, but can only be open by one person at a time. NOTE: If the server restarts (like after a maintenance), you need to set those rights again. Taxes are the percent of EXP the person with the Title gives to the guild to level it up. Maximum Taxes being 50%. Guild skills will be talked about later on in detail. The Expel History shows you the people that got kicked out of the guild with the reason (if any was given). It doesn't show people that left on their own. Guild Notice lets you write a small message, that everyone can see if they log in. Leaving a guild: you can leave guilds anytime by right click your name and choose "Leave Guild". Changing Guild Leader: you can change the Leader of a guild anytime with @changegm [charactername]. The character you want to transfer the rights to needs to be in the guild and online. Disband a guild: To disband your guild you need to kick every member in it, till only the guild leader is left. Then you type /breakguild "[guildname]". ===== Guild Skills ===== Offical Guild Approval [1] - Allows you to join in War of Emperium (if your guild don't have that, you get kicked out of the castle). Contract with Kafra [1] - Lets you use a Kafra NPC in the castles you own. Guardian Research [1] - Allows you to call Guardians to defend your castle. Strengthen Guardians [3] - Enchants Guardians. Affects their Attack Power and Walking Speed. Guild Extension [10] - Increases the capacity of member that can join the guild, +40. NOTE: Due to the dimishing numbers of people that join WoE, guilds maximum members got reduced to 16. Great Leadership [5] - All guild members in a 5 cell range around the guild leader get +5 STR. Glorious Wounds [5] - All guild members in a 5 cell range around the guild leader get +5 VIT. Cold Heart [5] - All guild members in a 5 cell range around the guild leader get +5 AGI. Hawk Eyes [5] - All guild members in a 5 cell range around the guild leader get +5 DEX. Development [1] - Adds a 50% chance of gaining an extra point when investing on your castles commercial growth. Battle Order [1] - Only usable during WoE. All guild member on screen range gain +5 STR, INT and DEX. Lasts 1min, Cooldown 5min. Regeneration [3] - Only usable during WoE. All guild member on screen range gain [HP/SP Revovery Rate*3], Cooldown 5min. Restore [1] - Only usable during WoE. All guild member on screen range restore 90% Max HP/SP, Cooldown 5min. Emergency Call [1] (short: E-Call) - Guild leader summons all guild member around him. Fixed Casting time of 5 sec (10 sec for Taekwon Classes), can be interrupted and probably will be. Cannot be dragged into the skillbar. Cooldown 5min. Even tho there are quiet a few skills, the only one that actually matters is E-Call. Emergency Call is a very powerful skill in WoE, since it gives you a lot of advantages. But I will get to that in detail later. But why not also use Battle Order, Regeneration or Restore? Well the thing with those, together with E-Call, is, their Cool downs count for all. Once you used Battle Orders for example, you can't just use E-Call after it. You would need to wait 5min. Usually E-Call is too important to waste the Cool down time on other skills. ========== War of Emperium - Summary ========== We already established what WoE is in the begin, but lets get some more details. ===== When is WoE? ===== WoE Times can be checked on every towns "WoE Kafra", she also tells you the current castle owners. WoE days are on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. If you have trouble finding out when WoE is for you, just check the NPC, then do @time to see what Server time is at the moment. NOTE: The first time is European time (UTC+2), in Summertime. Server time is the time in gray (UTC+8). ===== Where is WoE? ===== As mention, guilds fight in castles for their ownership. In Ragnarok there are 6 "Realms" which have those WoE maps. Each Realm has up to 5 castles. Not all castles are active at a time tho, you need to check to the time chart which castle is active. NOTE: I will not put a map of every castle in there, but link the rms for it, otherwise that guide would become endlessly long. You can only use the WoE Kafra to warp to the realms while WoE times. If you desire to go there outside of those times you either need to walk, or use a Priests Warp Portal (if they saved that map). The "Basic" First Edition WoE maps provide also NPCs to access "Hall of Abyss". Inside the castles you can access also different NPCs, like TAGRAS or Guild Dungeon warpers. ===== Whats the goal? ===== Note: I know some people play WoE more to "get kills", but I will here point out the original goal. The main goal of WoE is to get into the castle and break the "Emperium", which then makes your guild the owner of the castle. The Emperium is a "Monster", with the properties Small, Holy and Angel. In Loki it got boosted HP, up to 10m HP, to make breaking it harder. Due to this, Priests are very good for defending the Emperium., more to that later tho. When WoE is over, Guildes get access to the Guild dungeons associated with the castle they conquered. If you for Example conquered Repherion while WoE, you now can access the Geffen Guild Dungeon. Further you also get access to the Hall of Abyss of said realm, if 100m got donated into their opening. Details on Hall of Abyss: https://wiki.ragnarevival.com/wiki/Hall_of_Abyss Beside those free access, the Guild Master now can use the Butler NPC inside the castle to "loot" the Masters room and increase the castles Economy and Defense. For a small amount of zeny you can invest in those 2 things twice per day (the timer resets always at Server time midnight). Increasing the "Economic Status" will make that more Treasure Chests within the master room appear. Treasure chests can drop useful (and less useful) items such as: Green Box, Speed Potion Box, Deadly Poison Box, Defense Potion Box, Magic Defense Potion Box, Abrasiv Box, 3c Diamond and most importantly, to a small chance ingredients to make Godly items. Depending on how well your team performed in WoE you further will get WoE Coins, to buy things in the WoE shop on the Prontera Guild map. ===== WoE Mechanics ===== Wiki Link: https://wiki.ragnarevival.com/wiki/War_of_Emperium Once a Castle is broken, you can set up different mechanics that help you defending it. In First Edition WoE (Payon, Alde Baran, Prontera and Geffen) you can call "Guardians" for 100.000 zeny each. There are three types of Guardians, Sword, Knight and Archer. Guardians can be called with the same NPC that let the Guild Master invest in the castles economy and send them to the Treasure room. Only a Guild Master can call Guardians. Wiki Link: https://wiki.ragnarevival.com/wiki/War_of_Emperium_2 The Second Editions castles, also commonly called "Stones" or "Stone castles" have more defensive mechanism. The castles got their name due the ability to set up Barricades (Cades) and Guardian Stones. Barricades can only be build by the Guild Master. Once they are broken, they can't be rebuild (you do can let your enemy take the castle tho, then conquer it again; and then build up Barricades again). There are 3 sets of Barricades (Cades 1, Cades 2, Cades 3). Further everyone in the guild, Guild Master and members alike can set up Guardian stones. Every Castle has 2 Stones. Once they are both set up, Guardians get called automatically. If a Stone breaks, it can be rebuild after 5min. "Stone" castles are a lot bigger then the normal castles, that's why they also need the usage of "Flags". Flags can be found outside EVERY castle (First and Second Edition). The outside flags will always teleport you inside the castles spawn point (varies from castle to castle) and in Stones it will always teleport you into the Emperium room. On different "check points" in the Stone castle you can find flags that will teleport you back into the Emperium room. Vice versa, in the Emperium room you can find a row of flags that will teleport you on different check points within the castle. It is from advantage if the Guild Master knows, which Flag leads to which check point, to command quick their memebers (however, that doesn't mean that the members also maybe try to speed up their support by learning them a bit :p). Example: Flag 1 in the Emp room leads you to the Stones, Flag 1-1 to Stone 1 and Flag 1-2 to Stone 2. To build Cades and Stones you need to carry a set of times: Barricades: 30 Trunk, 10 Steel, 5 Oridecon, 10 Emvertracon IMPORTANT: On creating the Barricades you will get to choose which material depending on a Text message. If you want to build Cades quick, try to learn the messages and look for key words that you can associate the materials with (For Example, one prompt says "the frames damaged" > tells you to use Trunk). Stones: 1 Elunium, 1 Oridecon, 30 Stone, 5 Blue Gemstone, 5 Red Gemstone, 5 Yellow Gemstone IMPORTANT: When building the Stones, have /effects on. First you will need to select the order in which the ores be set (Stone > Elunium > Oridecon), then you need to select depending on the effect Red, Yellow or Blue Gemstone. The Effects are the same as in the Sages ground skills, they have the same color as the Gemstone. Recovering Stones, Barricades and Emperium All three can get their HP restored by shift-right click "Heal". Depending on who is attacking, you can either Safety Wall them, or put Pneuma on them. Stones and Barricades are Neutral, but as already mention, the Emperium is Holy. Therefore you can stop Breakers with forcing Holy Property attack on them with "Aspersio". NOTE: This only works if the Breaker doesn't wear Evil Druid Card and makes himself Undead with that. Another thing to mention is, that you can't use "Emergency Call" directly or in close range to the Emperium. You will get the prompt that you can't use the skill and you need to walk away further from it to use it. ===== Hostage ===== A common practice in WoE is taking castles "hostage". But what does that mean? It is pretty simple, you basically guarentee your guild the break. To hostage a castle, you need to find a castle that isn't yours. You normally enter it (commonly those castles are abandon by their owner). You set your defense as usual (basically you defend the enemies castle so to speak), BUT you also have a Breaker at the Emperium. The goal of a hostage is to have a quick break in case the enemy rushs in. Hostages are common practice near the end of WoE, to get a break "last minute". Advantages: If the break doesn't fail, you have a pretty guarentee castle. If a castle breaks, all enemies get kicked out. You get the advantage of setting up a defense or coming back to the stack quickly, while the enemy needs to walk. Disadvantages: You need to be really, REALLY certain your breaker either A) damaged the Emp enough to quick break it or B) in general breaks quick; in case someone disturbes the hostage. If you die in a hostage, you can't flag in; you need to walk back. It's risky to only rely on one hostage: if the enemy can run over your defense, you lose all. ========== Getting started with your Guild ========== For a helping hand from the server, check out the Guild Packages they support. :3 Anyways, beside that. It always helps if you and your guildmates at least know "what is suppose to happen". What I mean by that is, if you don't even know WHERE the current WoE castle is, chances are pretty high that you would also not survive in WoE. To put it simple, WoE is a End-Game content. You work towards it to be better prepared for it. You can't expect to go in with your freshly max level and "newbie" gears and not get salughtered by players who do this literally for YEARS now (also most people love fresh meat, so do't take it too personal ;d). But enough of the depressing reality talk. Lets be more positive. ===== Keep yourself drugged up! Consumables ===== Important to every guilds survival are Consumables, also called mostly "Supply". Supply can be provided by the Guild Master, but isn't a Must-Go. Somethings take a lot time in farming, so not everything can be always provided by every guild. Appreciate what your Guild Master is willing to give you, and don't be too greedy. Yggdrasil Berries and Seeds aren't usable in WoE, that's why the main source for healing HP is Condensed Potions. Common Consumables: Condensed White Potion - Best if from one of the Top 10 Ranked Creators (check /alchemist who that is), ranked those potions heal 50% more. Blue Potion - Also heals 50% more if ranked, not really needed for every class tho (most commonly needed for Champions or Spam-heavy classes). Speed Potion - Increases your Movement Speed, it helps a lot when chasing or running away from enemies, or simply get faster back to your friends when you died. Can be bought in the Sealed Shrine Instance, or in Hall of Abyss/ WoE Shop or from other players. Speed Potion Alternatives: Box of Thunder, Laver Poison Bottle - Assassin Cross need those for their Enchant Deadly Poison Skill, to do more damage. Not a must have to supply, but always nice to help out your SinX friends. Can be farmed in Hall of Abyss, or Bio Lab3. Regeneration Potion - Helps you recover HP and also Healing on you will increase. Great especially for tanking classes like Paladin. Can be farmed with GP in Hall of Abyss. Magical Defense / Defense Potion - Not a must-have, still can be helpful to share if the Guild Master obtained them from looting the Treasure Chest. Schwartzwald Pine Jubilee - Provides 20 PD. Can be farmed when you finished a certain point in the Onward to the new world Quest Line. Elemental Proof Potion - Gives 20% Resistance to one element they represent. Can be farmed with a Plasma Card. Holy Elemental Scroll - Enchants your armor with Holy. Useful against Wizards magic. Can be obtained from RDC Reward Officer. Panacea - Cures status aliments, can be bought from Tool Dealer for a low price. Other Supply: Things that I, personally, would consider less of guild supply, since those are mandatory for some classes to function (basically what I want to say with that, if you can't supply your own play style, maybe consider playing something less farm/money consuming). Cobweb - Professors need those to cast Spider Web on enemies. Can be Farmed from Argos. Bottle Grenade and Acid Bottle - Creators need those to use their Acid Terror, Demonstration and Acid Demonstration skills. Can be farmed in Bio Lab Basement (Acid) or bought in Eden Mall. Blue Gemstones/ Any Gemstones - Priest, Wizards and sometimes Professor. They are cheap to obtain and there are a lot of Equipment/Cards that nullify Gemstone Requirements. As Guild Master: always keep some zeny on hand in case you need to call Guardians for the castles defense. In case of Stone Castles, keep the materials for making Cades in storage. ===== Buffs! ===== It is important to keep Buffs up in WoE. Usually people use Alts to not bother their team mates too much and have a shorter time to come back to the stack. Common alts that mostly wait for their Masters at the spawn point are: Full Chemical Protection - Creator Alts are a stable. Having your Equipment not being stripped or broken is always handy. Soul Links - Soul Linker Alt. Depends on the class, some classes don't need Links, so they don't use these as alts. However you can buff also Kaite and Kaupe on yourself. Classes that benefit from SL Alts: Stalker, High Wizards, Performer. Priest Buffs - High Priest Alt. Teammate priests usually have already enough to do with babysit the whole guild, so some people play the save route and give themself Buffs like AGI up, Blessing, Assumptio and Impositio. ===== Get geared up! How to survive better ===== A very big part of playing decently in WoE is to have good gears. It is the biggest obstacle, and very hard to come by it. This isn't only due to the fact that the "meta" relevante gears are expensive or hard to get, but also because this server has a long history. A lot of the players in "big" guildes have experience and resources on good gears. You need to show dedication to stand up against that. In the following sections I will list of some of the more commonly used items. This doesn't mean tho, it's the "only good way", you can experiment and collect experience by yourself still. Also I will not type down the description of every single item. NOTE: Please refer to ratemyserver.net and our own RevivalRO wiki for the details. Low Budget Definition: Non-Donor Items. Farmable Items. Event/Quest Items. Event Coppola, Feather Beret, Spider Seduction - Upper Headgear, provides Demi-Human/Medium Resistance. Amistr Hat - Upper Headgear, while not being the most optimal choice, Melee Attackers mostly don't have alot other choices. Rima's Ribbon/Variant Veil - Upper Headgear, useful for Priests. Magic Wizard's Eyes - Upper Headgear, useful for Wizards. Cedi Small and Middle Wings - Middle Headgear, coming in the colors White (Tank), Red (Melee Crit) and Blue (Magic), mostly given out free from older players since they have no use for these. Wing Headphones - Middle Headgear, provides Demi-Human Resistance. Can be obtained in Event Shop. Fable Silk - Middle Headgear, Useful for classes that need to be linked (Soul Linker, Performer), however you also recieve more damage while wearing it. Use it only when you really have to. Fuzzy Bunny Scarf - Lower Headgear, provides Elemental Resist. Easter Event Item. Honoray Bunny Mouth - Lower Headgear, Provides Blind/Silence Immunity and Water Resists. Easter Event Item. Yatta - Lower Headgear, Provides Water Resistance, Quest Item. Valkyrie Armor Set - Cheap, can have some decent stats. Especially the Manteau is in high demand for classes that can use the PD bonus it gives. Tailoring/Metalworking Sets - Mostly a rather more leveling/farming set, it sadly lacks card slots. Armor of Nothingness, Cape of Silhouette, Haunted Forest Shoes, Creserent Arm Guard - Easy to obtain in the 2019 Halloween Event with decent effects. Lv1 Weapons in Mall - Despite being pretty low in their own stats, these can be easily made +10 and mostly provide 4 slots, which can be filled with decent cards. WS Crafted Weapons/Metalworking, Handicrafting Weapons - Can be self-made, examples would be Solid Weapons, Hardened Steel Weapons (< Note, that might border into Mid Tier suggestions), VVVS Weapons. Drake Saber - Obtainable from RDC Tier 1, a decent Sword for classes that can use it. Fortune Sword/Grimtooth - Weapon, very easy to obtain Weapons. Fortune provides PD, Grim reduces SDef. Handicrafted Rings - Sapphire Ring, Asteria Ring, Ruby Ring. Resplendite Ring, Asomatous Ring - Can be obtained in Cedi/RDC. Aso Ring is Account bound. Mid Tier, more experienced Players Definition: More "harder" Instance Gears, Low Priced Donates, can also overlap with Low-Budget. RDC Helm - Upper Headgear, can be set with your own desired stats. Can't be used in Legit WoE. Healer's Heart Hat - Upper Headgear, provides Demi-Human Resistance and some status Resistance, overall a "upgraded" version of the Coppola. Can be obtained by farming Hall of Abyss. Antique Helm (Antique Armor Parts) - Upper Headgear, Can be set with indivudale effects. You need to the Bio Lab4 opening quests to get the chance to obtain it (The Boy who cried Wolfchev, bribe the officer money). Large Red/White/Blue Anglewing - Middle Headgear, Each with different effects can be very useful for some classes. Can be obtained in Cedi, mostly older players rather sell them than give them out for free. Tidung/Orc Knight Plate - Armor, can be obtained from MvPs, or bought from players. Cedi Item Gears - Great Old Set, Calig Cloak, Vvest, Ebony Greaves etc. Immune Shield - Sadly can only be obtained in Morroc Carnival. Recondite Ring/ Vendor's Clip, Sniper's Clip - Obtainable from Cedi/ EPs. Kraken Accessory/Golden Hole Accessory. Combat Knife - Weapon, sort of also blends into Low Budget since it can be bought from players. Provides Demi-Human Resistance. Thanatos Weapons - Can be obtained in "Ghost Palace". Hall of Abyss Weapons - Can have nice effects for several classes. Requiers Hall of Abyss farming. High End Tier, experienced Players Definition: Donated Premium Items, End-Game Instances, Gears can overlap with previous Tiers. Basically any donate shop items, commonly: PvP Magic, Melee, Range Headgears/Lucky Boxes. Sale Items. This section really depends on your Needs, Class and how much Premium coins you are willing to spend. Usually a good get go are "Speed Wing" (Rose Ring Effect) that give Movement Speed also. For Lowers "Balloon" gears, which provide some status Resistance. WoE Equipment Sets - While not technically "hard" to obtain, you do need WoE coins to buy them. Provides a big chunk of Demi-Human Resistance with some other effects. Red/Blue Neckties, Sheep/Yoyo Backpack - For magic/physical damage dealers, requiers MPs. Melanis Enchanted Gears - Mirror Shard, Elektro Feeler and Abyssmal Ringmail. Wolfchev Weapons - Mostly Nicholas Love and Staf of Tower. HoA MvP Loots - Sterne, Valkyrie Breastplate, Bronze Greaves. Higher RDC Tiers - Seth's Pride/Wrath, Haunted/Unholy Guitar/Whip, Goblin Weapons (Resco). Costum MvP cards - Poring MvP (Wizard and Knight), HoA MvPs (Herja), Orc Village (OCC and OKC), Baal, RSX Pii; Bio Labs 3/4/Basement MvPs, Nidhogg's Shadow Card. Common Cards Definition: Can range from Cards for a few million, to more "expensive" things. Headgear Cards: Elemental Resist Cards - Permeter, Leaf Cat, Leib Olmai, Giant Hornet, Giearth - Providing 10% for each element they represent (Permeter 15%). Status Resist Cards - Gemini-S58, Orc Hero, Marduk, Evil Snake Lord, Ungoliant - Providing % Resistances or Immunities to several Status. You can stack those also, for Example 3 Gemini and a 10% from the Balloon Lower gear. Other Headgear Cards: Mistress, Dark Pinguicula, Duneyrr, Rata - Depending on the class and your needs, Rata for Example is a stable for Magic damage dealers. Armor Cards: Detardeurus, Gioia, Grand Marin, Marc - All Providing Freeze immunity. A common status effect in woe. Ghostring, Grand Ghostring, Angeling - Enchants Armor with either Ghost/Holy. Ghost enchant is good for tanking Neutral damage, while Holy is good for tanking magical damage. Gloom Under Night - For Breakers to deal damage on the Emperium. Garment: Elemental Resistance Cards: Marse, Jakk, Hode, Dustiness, Raydric, Deviling, Nobby the Novice - Providing 30% to each element, Raydric 20%, Deviling 50%. - Polistes, Noxious, Anunaki Shoes & Shield: GEC, Apache Tear, Amon Ra, Fallen Bishop Hibram. Thara Frog, Maya, Horn, GTB - Shield; Thara the basic PvP card here with providing 30% Demi Resistance. Accessory: Alligator, Yoyo, Errende Ebecee. Weapon: This is heavily depending on the class you play and the weapon you use. Best for that be to ask directly what's best to use. Commonly Killer classes use things like Zakudam, Daeyhon, Grand Metalling, etc. Status inflicting Cards: Lord of the Dead, Drake, OCC, Stormy Knight, Valkyrie Randgris. A lot of these things have overlapping borders. Some items you can easily buy from players, which makes them overlap into the Low Budget Tier or Mid Tier sometimes. Overall can be said, you do can make decent WoE gears with legit gears and no donations at all. But it will make it harder, especially for classes that aim on killing. In that regard the server sadly shifts a little bit into pay for winning territory. Nontheless, you can still always farm for coins or join community Events to get some and improve your gear. Tanking and Dodging Beside the usual resistance stacking, a common way to reduce damage is by simply evading it. PD is a very common way on just literally "dodging" damage. PD, Perfect Dodge is the "+ Number" next to your "Flee". Anything from 100 and above will totally evade MELEE attacks. Even with 100 PD, you can still get hit by Skills and Magic. Commonly used for PD are items like: Fortune Sword/ Solid Weapons; Valkyrie Manteau (only for certain classes); Yoyo Card; PD Cedi Orbs and armors like GO Hauberk or WoE Armor. The best Buff for gaining PD is Clowns "Whistle" song. PD gets increased by LUK. Flee on the other hand can also dodge Skills, however Magic will still hit you. Flee is reduced in WoE by 20%. Good Flee 'Whores' can reach numbers up to 1000 Flee and more. Common gears for Flee are: Fox Ears (Donate), Elegant Wings (Donate), Orc Knight Plate, Flee Orbs. The best Buff for gaining Flee is Clowns "Whistle" song. Flee gets increased with AGI. Pure "tanking" can be archived with Demi-Human or Medium Resistance (Players are Demi-Human, Medium, Neutral by default). Demi-Human resistance is capped at 65%. Further you can decrease damage taken from Short Range, Long Range and Misc Attacks. The damage Sniper does is Long Range, but also Wizards Magic counts into that. Long Range Resistance is also capped at 65%. Misc Attacks are (mainly) Acid Demonstration and Snipers Falcon skills. NOTE: No matter if your are a support class or killer. ALWAYS have a "tanking" set on hand. Not even the best Paladin and Priest can save you if you take the damage of like 5 people with no reduction at all. Already small things like Thara Frog, Raydric/Noxious/Polistes and maye a Coppola/Combat Knife can make everyones live easier and yours longer. ===== Class set up! How to build your team ===== Sadly not every class is vaiable in current WoE. Especially with the guild size cut down to 16 people, you really need to look who plays which job. Keep in mind tho, these are just the "common" observations, you can still play whatever the hell you want. Guild Master: Commonly used: Stalker, Assassin Cross, Creator, Paladin. Guild Master mostly need fast walking classes, that can hide behind the enemy and E-Call. Stalker are perfect for this Job, but mostly lack a bit on the damage dealing side. Assassin can basically do the same, but usually need to fill the Breaker Job too, which means they need to decide between the two. Creator can push fast and reach high Resistances. Recently Paladin also got often used as Leaders. Biggest disadvantage of that tho is that Paladins can't Devote each other. Also due to the limit space, you mostly need to support your team and can't focus on a yolo Call. Other Classes: High Priest - An key role for the support, provides Healing, Recoveries, Buffs, DeBuffs and Protection of the castles Emperium. A Priest that knows what they are doing has a lot value. Champion - A pretty decent Killer class, that usually can take out key parts of the enemies set up if he does it right. Asura Strike is a powerful skill, the downside of it is tho, that it can be tanked with Ghostring. Creator - A very powerful class that can fill in both roles, supporrt and killing. Providing Buffs like FCP and can deal good damage with Acid Demonstration and Marine Spheres. Downside is, it needs a lot money to maintaine. Whitesmith - Rather rarely seen in WoE, they do can deal big damage with Cart Termination, but also need decent gears. Paladin - Probably the most important class in every guild. Main tank, providing great buffs and most importantly: Devotion. In the best case, have at least 2 or 3 of them. Lord Knight - Due to the shifting Meta, LK has fallen a bit out of favor, but their damage output is still pretty good with skills like Brandish Spear. Professor - A very versitile class that has access to a lot of skills and can do all kinds of support. Having one is always good. They can support the team with Wall of Fog, Safety Wall and DeBuffs like Dispell, Soul Burn and can place ground effects such as Deluge and Land Protector. With the right Equipment, they can even snatch some kills too. High Wizard - Killing class with the ability to deal AoE elemental damage. Only downside is that they need some expensive Equipment to do decent damage and need experience (Example: not mindlessly spam one skill even tho it doesn't seem to have an effect at all). With good damage comes the fact of being squishy, so they also kinda rely on Devotion. Stalker - Another versitle Class, back in the days one of the major Breaker classes, nowadays became a bit slow in their Breaks, Stalker now mostly fullfill the "trolling" role. Causing literal Panic in the enemy is key part of their playstyle, distracting so your team has a easier time on picking up the enemy. Can DeBuff the enemy with Skills like (copied) FSK and Full Strip, or causing AoE status with Raid. Assassin Cross - Main Breaker class and also became a very good damage dealer. Downside is that their high damage mostly depends on the Enchant Deadly Poison Buff. Nontheless, a key role on picking up weaker parts in the enemy set up and deal good damage on more tankier classes. Performer: Gypsy/Clown - Support roles that mainly focus on "trolling". Their songs give great Buffs and sometimes DeBuffs on enemy. Trolling mostly comes in the shape of Scream and Frost Joke, which can be very effective if the enemy lacks Resistance. Sadly due to the nature of the class, Gypsy is heavily outclassed by Clown. Always good to have them on your side. Sniper - Currently the Meta is mainly focused on Range damage, Snipers became a very good damage dealer, especially with their skill Sharp Shooting (Double Strafe can also still hurt). In combination with Clowns Bragi, you will get high DPS. They do can be Breaker too, but usually Assassin are faster. Beside the DPS aspect, they also can lay Traps (Ankle Snare) to slow/stop the enemy from pushing. Soul Linker - A very good support class, that also can kill with the right gears. Some classes rely on their Links (Stalker, High Wizard and Performer), and Kaupe/Kaite are good Buffs to keep the team alive. The only downside is, that they need to be linked themselves to Buff their team. Soul Linkers are also a hard counter to magic due to their Kaite Buff just reflecting all magic back to the caster. Star Gladiator - Despite being one of the best class in Farming, their potencial in WoE is rather "meh". That doesn't mean they can't be good damage dealers. The issue here is mostly that you can't really use Union, since it will drain your HP fast and that their major damage output relies on the Running+FSK combo. Castles have less space to Run properly, so it takes skill to play them properly. Gunslinger - Part of the "Range Meta", Gunslinger can dish out hugh chunks of damage, but have the issue of Cast Delay. They depend a lot on Clowns Bragi to spam their skills decently fast. Ninja - Can do decent damage, but have sadly a lot downsides to them. Their Magic is purely Single Target, so they can be countered easily with Maya, and they are limited to 3 Elements (Wind, Water and Fire). Overall there isn't really a use for them, since a High Wizard can do basically the same and has more variety of Elements and AoE. Throwing and Final Strike Buildes aren't viable either, since they lack of damage. Super Novice - ... No use at all for that, better not waste your time. In short, mandatory classes in WoE are: Priests, Paladins, Assassin, Wizard, Sniper/Gunslinger, Performer. Additional classes that are good to have in the team: Professor, Creator, Soul Linker, Stalker, Champion and Lord Knight. Sidenote to this: It is also important to be flexible. If you notice you are weak to something your enemy uses, try to make find a counter role for it. For Example: your enemy has alot Wizards using magic, so you can go the counter way on using a Professor using Land Protector or a Soul Linker hard counter them with Kaite. Another Sidenote on the Sidenote: HOWEVER. Make always sure you KNOW how to play that class. Your team will have no benefit if you have no clue what the hell you are doing. Teamwork But just the right set up isn't enough. A major part is also the Teamwork. You can have the best set up in the world, if your team has the ability of working together like a piece of bread, you will most likely lose. Teamwork doesn't only include that, it also means, are you able to LISTEN to your Guild Leader. Further, make sure you are quick in "coming back" into the castle. Taking ages to rebuff yourself won't help anyone. The longer you need to get your set up ready, the more time the enemy has to build up theirs as well. General good points for a decent Team would be: Stick with your supports, they here to support you (the Killer), so don't make their job harder as it is already Priests: You are babysitters (You will quick learn how suicidal people can be when you need to keep them alive). And always the one to blame, so don't take it too personal. Killers, don't jump around and chase any enemy on sight and get killed alone, stick with your team. They are friends (mostly). Basically, if you are the defending side, just let the enemy come to (in your castle), the enemy wants you, there is no reason to mindlessly chase it down as if there is no tomorrow and risk destroying your set up. Practice A way to practice your skills can be Battleground and PvP or Horus. Sadly the server is a bit dead in those regards sometimes, so you need to look when those are active. ========== Leading the Guild - Guild Leader Tips and Tricks ========== As already mention before, leading basically cuts down in providing your team the advantage of having a good E-Call for facing the enemy. You Command them to certain castles and spots inside there. Nothing is worser like your team having no clue what the "common goal" is, like where is the regroup spot? What castle are we even in? Commanding: The command to broadcast messages on top of the guildes screen is @gw. @gw can also be set to be used by guild members, associated with a title. For Example "Title number 5: DA BEST", to give everyone who has that title the command @gw, you type @gw 5 1 (and to remove that rights @gw 5 0). Now everyone with the title can broadcast messages (which only the guild can see). Now you can type anything with this @gw [message]. It comes handy for people that usually don't pay much attention to the chat box. If the guild has good teamwork (and brain), usually you don't need to command much. It still can't be bad to keep broadcasting things such as "where to go" and "where to regroup". Reconnecting: A big no-go as Guild Leader is leaving the castle by reconnecting. The simple reason for that being, that E-Call time resets with that. If you log out and back in, the timer will start again with 5min cooldown. An easy solution to this is: if your spawn is close to a @go point, just type @go that town. If it's more hidden, you can use Butterfly Wings to get you to your respawn point. Be aware of what your team can accomplish: Trying your best is good, but nothing is worser then keep pushing on an enemy you can't defeat. It's important to also accept defeat. If you can't break through a defense, try it and if your team just cant; retreat and conquer your own castle. (It can be especially frustrating if you maybe really want to push against a certain enemy, but it is already near end WoE. You keep pushing and maybe accomplish nothing, and might not even get a quick last minute castle) E-Calling: As already established, E-Call is a very important skill. E-Call has a fixed cast time of 5 seconds (doubled on Taekwon-Classes). It can be interrupted (Phen and similar things don't work on it). However, there are ways to support E-Calls. Devotion (Paladin skill): If you are under the effect of Devotion, your cast won't get cancled even if you get attacked. Being protected with Safety Wall, Pneuma, Kaupe, Kyrie. Depends on what attacks you. Having PD. If you get meleed only. What misses on you, can't cancle you. Things that stop E-Calls: Provoke (Lord Knight/Paladin skill): Solution against that: Evil Druid Card. Spell Breaker (Professor skill): No work around on that. Bleeding. While having the Bleeding status, you will get damage (which isn't visible), so if you try E-Call while Bleeding, it might stop cancle it without notice. Freeze. If you start E-Calling, nothing will happen, if you not get recovered before the cast time ends. It is always important to know where the enemy E-Caller is. No one likes a surprised arrival of the enemy from the back. For everyone in that case: Even if you are a supportive role, ALWAYS be able to might cancle a enemies E-Call. The damage doesn't matter, as long as you hit the Caller. ========== Conclusion ========== WoE always has been the major event in every RO Server. However RevRO has been around for a long time, which makes it a bit harder for newer players to join. I hope that "little" guide might help some people to get a better picture of what even is going on in WoE. If there are any more questions or suggestions, feel free to ask them here in the comments. :d I might add more screenshots in the Castle section, how things look like, like Stones and Barricades. Didn't had the time yet to look for old screenshots.

Twilight Pharmacy IV (Lv 1) - [Custom Quest Skill], Enables mass Potion creation. ========== Soul Linkers and you ========== Alchemist Spirit is a very useful buff for Creators and Alchemists. Sadly it needed to be nerfed a bit, therefor you most likely only can find it in use for Potter. The nerf affected the Increased effectiveness of Potion Pitcher, before that, Creators could easily Heal obscure amounts of Health (3 to 4 Pitches to heal a 1m HP Pally for instance). The Link provides the following effects: - Increase the effectiveness of Potion Pitcher by the Soul Linkers Base Level% (max 90). - Allows the Use of Berserk Pitcher, Twilight Alchemy I, Twilight Alchemy II and Twilight Alchemy III. - When using Mammonite, it will be on a 1,5x of it's cast Level (on Lv10 it will be Lv15). ========== A better potting story then Twilight ... and you ========== Twilight Alchemy I, Twilight Alchemy II and Twilight Alchemy III - as well as the custom Quest skill Twilight Alchemy IV are ways to mass create a decent amount of Potions in short time. NOTE: All of them require you to have 200 Medicine Bowls and the fitting Potion Manuel in your inventory. NOTE2: While writing this, TW is still buggy and might not work with your Creator, refer to the Bug Tracker to see details about this. Lets all hope it be fixed soon. qq Twilight Alchemy I (TW1) TW1 lets you created 200 White Potions in one go by using 200 White Herbs and 200 Empty Potion Bottles. This does not count into your Alchemist Ranking. Twilight Alchemy II (TW2) Creates 200 Condensed White Potions by using 200 White Potions, Witched Starsand and Empty Test Tubes. This will gives you points in the Alchemist Ranking. Requires an Super Novice in your Party. However, the SN don't need to be online to make this work. Twilight Alchemy III (TW3) Lets you create 100 Alcohol, 50 Acid Bottles and 50 Bottle Grenades in one go. Requires enough materials for all of them (100 Empty Test Tubes, 200 Empty Bottles, 50 Immortal Hearts, 50 Fabric, 50 Alcohol, 500 Stem and 500 Poison Spores). Requires and Taekwon Boy/Girl in your Party. However, the Taekwon don't need to be online to make this work. Twilight Alchemy IV (TW4) TW4 lets you create 200 Blue Potions in one go, by consuming 200 Blue Herb and 200 Empty Potion Bottles. Requires and Taekwon Boy/Girl in your Party. However, the Taekwon don't need to be online to make this work. (Works also without Link > Bug?) ========== Providing drugs for your local Junkies and you ========== A big, non fight oriented aspect of Creators is the potting. Creators can create a variety of Potions, a list of them with ingredients can be found here: http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=creation_db&op=4 Commonly Potter create Potions like Blue Potion and Condensed White Potion, but also Glistening Coats. If you create an item in that way, it will be unique with your Creators name. Success rate for the creation is mainly determined by the Job Level, associated Skills with it, INT, DEX and LUK, a calculator for the rate can be found here: http://ratemyserver.net/brew_calc.php (Note: Stats you insert there are Base + Bonus) Ranking A special mechanic is the Creator Ranking. For every Condensed Potion you make (Red, Yellow or White), you will get points. The current Ranking on the Server can be checked by /alchemist. > 3 Condensed Potions after another: +1 Point > 5 Condensed Potions after another: +3 Points > 7 Condensed Potions after another: +10 Points > 10 Condensed Potions after another: +50 Points If you are using Twilight Alchemy II, which creates 200 Condensed White Potions at once, that be in total 1280 Points. If you fail creating a Potion, the count goes back to 0 (the count not your total points). But why ranking? Potions created by the Top 10 ranked Creators heal 50% more, this includes HP healing potions as well SP healing potions. All Creators in the Top 10 heal the same, there is no difference. Higher Rank just means it's less likely to lose it. It doesn't effect Healing of Potion Pitcher or Slim Potion Pitcher tho. ========== Gotta catch them all! Homies and you ========== (In the picture above, the two different shapes "Vanilmirth" can have, including in his evolved 'adult' form.) Alchemists and Creators are the only class that can basically create their own unique "pet", a Homunculus. Homunculus is latin and means "little person". In RO, Homunculi support their master with fighting for them or give them supportive buffs. How to create a Homunculus? To create an Homun, you need to get the Platinum Skill (either on NPC or classic per Quest) "Bioethics". Then you can put on the follow up skills, "Call Homunculus" and "Rest" as well "Resurrect Homunculus". To "Call" a Homunculus you need to have a Embryo in your inventory. You can obtain these by either making them yourself or as loot in Bio Lab Basement. You will get a random selected Homun once you used the "Call" skill. If you like the result, you can keep it. If not you can "Delete" him, and call another random one (which will consume more Embryo). Your own stats can influence the Homun you get. Short Informations about Homunculus Since this is a Creator "Guide" I will not go in depth about Homunculus, for more details use the Wiki Page: https://wiki.ragnarevival.com/wiki/Homunculus_System In general tho, there are 4 kinds of Homun you can get for your Creator: Lif (Support), Vanilmirth (Magic Damage/Potting Support), Filir (Melee DPS) and Amistr (Tank DPS). Each of them have 2 different variants. It doesn't matter which variant you get, they are all the same within their kind (exp. blue bird Filir is the exact same as yellow bird Filir), it's purely aesthetic. Commonly people chose either Lif or Vanilmirth. Lif has a neat buff ("Urgent Escape") to increase Movement Speed which can come handy in PVP/WoE. Vanilmirth is used to help it's master on doing chip damage in PVP/WoE, sadly it is not very tanky, so you need to recall it a lot. Also it's Skill "Change Instruction" helps on creating Potions. ========== MvP/Instances and you ========== This will probably a short one. Sadly Creators aren't really used in MvP/Instance content, beside their support buff "Chemical Protection" on their Party members. In that regard tho, they are very important, preventing breaking from Equipment is always nice. (if you have a super duper MvP-ing build that does not involve Angra/Ahura, feel free to let me know :3) Their damage output isn't the best and is also very, veryyyy money consuming (if you go AD or Mammonite), you would have an easier and less money consuming time by just using another more DPS focused class. And sadly facing the more "stronger" MvP, Homunculus get killed quiet easily. (If someone wants to point out Magic Build now ... Might as well play High Wizard then, they got Magic too. :v) ========== Teaming up on the enemy and you ========== Creators have nice synergies with different classes, either on supporting them or combo off with then. Due to the nature of Acid Demonstration being always Neutral, people tend to tanking it with cards like "Ghostring Card" (Enchants Armor with Ghost). While you will do less damage, it will help your other team mates. Clowns Frost Joker can make them freeze, as well as Wizards Storm gust. In that frozen status Wizards can either start to Jupitle Thunder or Champions can Asura for good damage. Further Creators also like to team with Clowns for their Bragi, making Acid Demonstration even more spam-able. Other Notes Demonstration is neat not only to break your enemies stuff, but also to reveal Assassins and Stalkers. Bio Cannibalize can be used to remove traps, so if you are stuck and see more Traps ahead of you, remove them with your lovely cute plants! While Acid Demonstration depends on your targets VIT to deal more damage, it's generally a not so mart idea to only pick up on fat Paladins. Far more fun is picking classes that naturally use less shields; Sniper, Gunslinger and Assassin Cross. ========== Throwing Glass Bottles at your friends and you ========== Despite being not a 100% Healer class, Creators can reach pretty high values in terms of Healing. Their major focus lies in that case on "Potion Pitcher". "Slim Potion Pitcher" can be used too, but due to the reduced Value, the more people you heal, it is less used. Creators can easily reach 30.000k Heals like most High Priests can, however, Potion Pitcher Heal isn't as consistent as the normal "Heal". In one Pitch, you can Heal 25k, in the next 20k. In spam it doesn't matter much tho. Commonly used for Potion Pitcher Builds are: Bacsojin Cards, Meditatio Hats/RDC Helms for the INT bonus, Sterne/VVSHMace for the INT and Heal Bonus, Heal3 Orbs for the Heal Bonus and very importantly: Soul Links (best from a Linker and not Fable Silk). ========== Terrorism and you ========== You always had a secret fetish for explosion? You always wanted to just see the world burn? Then this handy little hat from the Touhou Lucky Box might be just be your dream item. Harvester Hat [2] - +2 AGI, +2 INT, Increases your Homunculus stats by 2*refine; REFINE +7: ATK increases by 1 for every 25 STR, multiplied by refine; REFINE +9: Grants "Nature's Blessing", FCP gets a small AoE around the Target. Nature's Blessing: All summoned Plants and Spheres will have 25% of your max HP and 10% of your ATK/Matk, as well as ASPD. Now that doesn't sound much like a burning world, so what is so special about that? It is the Hat at at least +9 in combinations with "Summon Marine Sphere". Marine Sphere explodes and deals damage depending on their left HP. Per default, Marine Sphere has on max Skill Lvl 4000 HP. With the Nature's Blessing they get 25% of your max HP. How to set it up? Per default, you will try to get your own HP as high as possible, which isn't that hard since "Tao Gunka Card" is very common in the server. Helpful can also be a Homunculus, because they "poke" the Marine Spheres, to move them, otherwise, you need to make them move. The Pros. - With this massive HP boost, they can deal a lot of damage. Unprepared or Classes with general lower HP pool can get killed easily. It is a handy tool to wipe out AFK or Alt members of guilds E-Calls. - You can reduce the damage you take from the Explosio with Fire Enchanted Armors, the Explosion is Fire Property. The Cons. - The probably biggest Con, and also one of the main reason Guilds not really like seeing their fellow Creators becoming Terrorist is, that these Bombs hurt everyone. And I mean, literally, everyone, even you. As easy as you can wipe out the enemy, you can wipe out your own allies. - It can be difficult to navigate the Bombs towards the enemy, especially if they push or retreat, making them often go into the nothing. - Despite having boosted HP, they can still be easily killed before they can detonate, if a DPS class picks up on them in time. Also, they can Freeze which also stops their detonation progress. - Fire Enchanted Armors do reduce the damage, but that also means you probably will take more damage from Water Property Magic like "Storm Gust". Also since you most likely will wear "Tao Gunka" to boost your HP, you can Freeze too. Even tho there quiet a few Cons, it can be a very handy and devastating skill nonetheless, especially in solo plays. But if you notice, you kill your own allies more then the enemy, you might should change the strategy. ========== Speed up! Midas and you ========== During sale periods the server released several 3rd Job hats. Also including the Creator one with the exclusive Skills "Cart Remodeling" and "Cart Boost (Geneticist)". For more informations check the wiki. The Movement Speed boost you get from the Genetic skill is pretty neat. It increases your speed by 60% for 90sec. Midas Whisper [4] - All Stats +20, ACD -10%, 10% chance to pierce Pneuma with Misc Skills; If worn by a Creator: enables Skills [Cart Remodeling] and [Cart Boost (Geneticist)]. ========== Stars, Eternal Love and you ========== Creators got a few nice weapons to give their skills more power or extra trolling powers. One that can boost the damage and is pretty often used is Sterne from Hall of Abyss. Sterne [3] - Increases damage when using Acid Demonstration or Cart Termination by 15%, Increases recovery rate of Potion Pitcher or Slim Potion Pitcher by 10%. Another special weapon for Creators is the Nicholas' Love from Wolfchevs Labratory. Nicholas' Love [3] - INT +3, ATK +5%, Increase Homunculus stats by 2 per refine; (Speciality Bonus) Acid Terror, if not breaking the enemies armor, has the chance of changing the enemies property randomly for 20sec. It is a handy little way on supporting your team by changing the enemies Armor Property randomly, combining especially well if you team mate is a Wizard that can spam all kinds of different elements. ========== Build Examples ========== Gonna update that late, it is late already. Wanna add an Terrorist build and if someone want to help out, I would take an AD focused example, ty, haha Potter: RDC Helmet: DEX, LUK and INT setting, with ACD - 4 Dark Illusion Cards (10% Cast time each) Fable Silk - Card doesn't matter (Pharao/Dark Illusion Card can be here, my Silk is used in WoE, that's why Gemini is in there for me) Any +Stat Lower (+15) - Pharao Card GOH - Any Armor/or no Armor goes; I use it for the 10% ACD Antiquated Shield - Ammo2 Orb - Only using this for the Ammo2 orb. Chance to nullify Catalyst usage by 2%. Poised Cloak - Ammo2 Orb - Only using this for the Ammo2 orb. Chance to nullify Catalyst usage by 2%. Ebony Greaves - Ammo2 Orb - Only using this for the Ammo2 orb. Chance to nullify Catalyst usage by 2%. Kiel Card, even tho I feel like it doesn't matter much. Poporing Ring - Chance to nullify Catalyst usage by 20%. 2 stack to 40%. 2 Beelzebub Card (30% Cast time each). Those stats and gears give 100% success rate (can be checked on RMS) and the maximum on ACD and Cast time for Twilight Alchemy. Further the maximum strength allows that you can carry as much pots as possible while potting. The Fable Silk gives a permanent link, so you don't need an SL alt. Potting: Buying Materials The main materials include: Medicine Bowl, White Potion, Witched Starsand and Empty Testtubes. For buying the best option is either using a Creator (with Lv 10 Discount: 24% less charge on NPCs) or a Stalker (Lv 5 Compulsion Discound: 25% less charge on NPCs). The character should have max STR, to ensure he can hold as much items as possible per deal. Enlarge Weightlimit with Gym Passes is optional. All mates can be bought on the Alchemist NPC in the Eden Mall, however, the NPC charges way more for some goods, then the regular selling NPCs. Medicine Bowls: Al de Baran (68 56, Alchemist Guild): 8z a piece (can only buy 2000 per deal) Witched Starsand: Eden Mall (99 35, Alchemist NPC): 484z; 363z (Stalker) a piece (as much as you can carry per deal) Empty Testtube: Geffen (65 176, Mage Guild): 3z; 2z (Stalker) a piece (as much as you can carry per deal) White Potion: Any Tool Dealer: 1200z; 900z (Stalker) a piece (as much as you can carry per deal) Potting: Set Up To create Condensed Slim Potions, you need a Super Novice in your party. This Super Novice doesn't need to be online, it is enough if he is just in the party for the whole ordeal. Further you need to be Linked (either via Fable Silk or a SL alt, this alt doesn't need to be in a party). Note: this is my personal set up, you can change up things as you like. I use both, a Gypsy with Fortunes Kiss (reduces SP usage) and a Clown with A Poem of Bragi. The Gypsies Service reduces my SP usage that much, that I don't even waste SP on Twilight Alchemy anymore, thus don't need to heal and can keep the storage up for the whole time of making potions. The Clowns Bragi helps reducing the Cast and After Cast delay of Twilight Alchemy to make the spam faster (note: you cannot reduce it to a 100%, you will always have a small delay). I usually take 1600 of each mate, this is the maximum amount I can take before becoming overweight. Then I just spam the Twilight Skill until the storage is full. Other Tips It can happen that the Party "does not work". This usually happens when the server restarts. If it happens, just kick all party members and re-invite them, it will fix the party. Use multiple storage's for quicker potting, I personally use only Guild and Account storage, but if you can, you can even use the Character storage as well ========== Other Equipment and Cards - Options - ========== Gonna mention only the Items that specifically are made for Creator or their Skills, or help them a lot. From providing supplies for their friends to fight and defend them, you can choose several routes. But there is also a bit downside on it: Creator is a class that literally throws their money at the enemy. Not only literally with Mammonite, but rhetorical with Acid Demonstration, Acid Terror, Demonstration, Sphere Mines and so on, all the Bottles cost money (if you are not insane enough to farm that all). Make sure you got enough resources to maintain the play style, or you will soon need to play something else. haha But Hey! At least you get an adorable pet Homunculus to look at. ~
  3. ========== "May Odin be with you" High Priests ... and you ========== IGN: g c q, yandereQueen, Ghost Lead and many more; Special thanks to Connor ~ ========== Overview ========== High Priest is the main branch a Acolyte can choose if they are not going to be a Champion. Basilica (Lv 5) - Creates a Sanctuary (5x5 around caster) that prevents monsters from attacking everyone inside. Aggro monster will start idle, and you can't cast attacks inside or attack anyone. Ineffective for Boss monster. Can't be used in WoE. Casting it again will cancel it. Caster can't move or use other skills while it's active. Requires 1 Blue Gemstone, 1 Red Gemstone, 1 Yellow Gemstone and 1 Holy Water. Magnus Exorcismus (Lv 10) - Deals Holy damage to Demon monster and Undead Property Enemies on a Cross like AoE on the ground (7x7 around the set cast). Hits enemies in waves every 3 seconds (10 waves on Lv 10). Requires 1 Blue Gemstone. Sanctuary (Lv 10) - Creates a healing area on the ground (5x5), and heals everyone over time. Inflicts Holy damage Demon monsters and Undead Property Enemies. Can heal up to 13 targets at once. Can heal the Emperium in WoE. Requires 1 Blue Gemstone. Safety Wall (Lv 10) - Creates a 1 cell barrier on the ground that protects from short range attacks. Protects from 11 hits. Can't be cast on Pneuma. Requires 1 Blue Gemstone. Redemptio (Lv 1) - [Platinum Skill] Self Sacrifice to resurrect every dead party member on the casters screen with 50% of their Max HP. Empathy (Lv 1) - Quest Skill, Enables to see the HP bar of friendly entities (such as Allies in WoE) outside of your own Party on the screen. Commonly good skills to get in WoE: Pneuma, Heal, Increase Agility, Blessing, Decrease Agility, Ruwach, Cure, Holy Light (good to cancel Enemies E-calls, if they not Holy Armor you) Status Recovery, Safety Wall, Sanctuary, Lex Aeterna, Meditatio, Increase SP Recovery, Aspersio, Imposito Manus, Assumptio (even tho it can't be used inside the castles, you can buff it outside), Kyrie Elesion, Gloria, Magnificat Commonly good skills in PvM content: Pneuma, Heal, Increase Agility, Blessing, Cure, Angelus Status Recovery, Safety Wall, Sanctuary, Lex Aeterna, Meditatio, Increase SP Recovery, Aspersio (Optional, if your Killer needs it), Imposito Manus, Assumptio, Kyrie Elesion (less frequent, Assumptio is mostly the better option), Gloria, Magnificat, Resurrection, Redemptio (Really depends on how fast you can cast it, in most cases Resurrect one by one is just faster, and damages you less) Magnus Exorcismus (if you wanna dish out some damage on Undead enemies, good for clearing weaker slaves) Why not Mana Recharge? Mana Recharge itself sounds nice with its 20% reduction on skill, but the big downside to it is the requirements to get the skill. You need to have Demon Bane and Mace Mastery at lv10 in order to skill it. Loki has Job Level 120, but in my opinion it's not really worth it and you might be better off skilling other things like Magnus Exorcismus or Turn Undead. Beside that, you naturally get a pretty neat SP recovery (Especially if you skilled Increase SP Recovery). ========== Healing and you ========== Heal it probably by far one of your most important skills to keep everyone alive if they took damage. So getting it on high values is mandatory. Per se, there isn't a real cap on how high your value can go. However you get limitations by gears you can use and stats to obtain. The general formula for Heal is [((BaseLv + INT)/8) * (4+8*SkillLv)]. A lot of other factors can affect the Heal. For example, my Priest without any gears and Meditatio does 5.460. Heal Cap When skilled Meditatio, the heal does up to 11.466. Lets add some equipment, shall we? Equipping and VVVSHardened Mace (I will give details to the items down below), the Heal becomes 15.134. Adding Rima's Ribbon with 2 White Lady Cards (together Heal Potency bonus be 70%) on top of that makes it 23.636. You get the drill of it. You can stack Heal Potency bonus' but there is a cap to it, 100%. Which means, for example White Lady Card (each give 30%), will stack with 4 pieces to 120%. 20% be wasted to nothing, so people usually go with 3 of them. Some Heal Potency Bonus don't stack however. For example 3 White Lady (90%) + LWW (10%) give together 27.352. However, if we combo 3 White Lady (90%) with a VVVSHardened Mace (10%, also gives INT) we will get 28.168. Only a few items can get pass over the Heal cap, for example Diabolus Robe (6%), together with VVVSHmace and White Lady (all over be 106%), they reach 28.576. But reaching the Heal Cap doesn't mean you still can't go higher, INT bonus (INT+Value) also affect the Heal number. Also, Item and Gear effects of your Target can increase your Heal on them. Regeneration Potion increases received Heal by 20%. Healed3 Orb from Cedi by 3%, Healer's Heart Hat by 15% and so on. Tl;dr: There are different scripts that go into the Heal cap, which means some a few Items can go over it. In general INT helps to increase Heal past the cap. Heal "Bombing" Heal Bombing is the term for using Heal as attack on Undead Property Enemies. It will not heal them, but damage them. It is a handy technique to quick level up Acolytes or Priests, since Heal has a low ACD. In WoE it can also be useful because it can hurt Evil Druid Users. How to do it: Hold "shift" and aim for a Target with Heal. Alternatively you can type "/ns" and active the [no shift] option. Heal Walking and Animation Breaking Every skill has an animation that plays when you use it. Even if your skill has no Cast Delay (or at least not that big that you would feel much of it), you still will be delayed by your animation. You can break this delay tho and spam a skill faster. "Heal walking" is one way to do it, you break the animation of Heal by moving. It does need a lot of practice tho. Note: I am not very good myself at "Heal Walk", so the example here isn't perfect at all. Also laggy. Another, more easier way to archive the "break" is by getting hit from an enemy. You will be in the being attacked position, and have less delay on the spam (a similar thing do Creators if they want farm Herbs from Plant Cultivation). The only downside to this is, that you will receive damage, meaning you do need to be tanky to keep up with your party. Note: Since the EU proxy went down the drain I am laggy, I apologize for that. ========== Curing Abnormal Status and you ========== High Priests got several skills to cure many status effects, in PVP and PVM. Many status effects you can visually see, like Frozen Targets being in Ice (and not moving) or Cursed Targets having a Grim Reaper and walking slow. As side note; on a limited time sale we got the "Lovey Set" which allows you to use the Skills Lauda Ramus and Lauda Agnus, which can cure status too. For more detail on that check out the Equipment options down below. Frozen; Stun - Status Recovery Curse - Blessing Stone Curse - Blessing, Status Recovery Silence - Cure, Lex Divina Blind; Confusion - Cure Poisoning - Slow Poison (doesn't cure it, but slows it's effect) Critical Wounds; Deadly Poisoning - Cure (with Asteria Ring) However, Critical Wounds is a bit harder to notice, but also very important to heal. The easiest way to notice if, for example your Paladin friend got the status, is by communication or if you notice that your Heal does way less then before on him. What does Critical Wounds do? It reduces the effectiveness of Heal, Sanctuary and Aid Potion on the Target by 20%*Lv of the Critical Wounds inflicted (A Card that inflicts the status would be for example Drake). It can be dodged by Safety Wall (if you get melee) or Pneuma (if range), or by having 100+ PD. ========== The Party and you ========== A good party set up is important to make everyone's support Job easier. Not only do you see nicely when someone is about to kiss the floor when their HP goes red, you also can easily buff everyone with Magnificat, Gloria or the third job buffs, Clementia, Cantocandidus, Lauda Ramus and Lauda Agnus. Since the party changed with the client, you can now drag and drop party members onto your screen. Simply right click on the name you want to drag, hold and put it out of the Party window on your screen. You can put them anywhere, where it is the most comfortable to you. This only works when the Lock is open (red on the screenshot). Keeping the Lock closed is important too tho. When you are done arranging your party members (or you like the window style more keep that), you need to lock it, otherwise it can happen that you accidentally drag them around while being in action. Another thing, why you need to keep the Lock closed is, that if you spam, for example Heal, you will keep getting the "Chat 1:1" option (a small chat box will appear). This will not happen when the Lock is closed. Angelus Angelus is one of the three party wide buffs you get. It is mostly, if even, only used in PVM. In WoE/BG/PVP it isn't used here because it can increase the SDEF by a lot, which will make you a Thana-Bait. What is a Thana-Bait and why it is bad? Thana-Bait means that you will take more damage from people that use Memory of Thanatos Card. Usually people with a lot VIT gain this as side effect, because also their Soft Defense (SDEF) increases. You can see if you are Thana-Bait by the numbers at your [Def], example 40+119, with 119 being the SDEF in this case. Usually a value till around ~110 is considered ok, more SDEF can start to hurt. Back line Support If your guild is defending and you don't have much people on the portal that need to be baby sit, you can stay in the back. That way you can keep up important buffs, keep Pneuma up and get receive no damage (which will take one less damage source from the devotion Paladin, making his job easier). Same idea can also apply in PvM, like Cedi and RDC. In most cases, your Tank (should) be ok on his own. To avoid being hit by AoE Curses (such as Dark Lord in Cedi), you can stay in the back. ========== Soul Linkers and you ========== Even tho your benefit from a Soul Link isn't as crucial as, lets say a Performer has, it can still be pretty handy. What does the Soul Link do? The "Priest Spirit" increases the damage of "Holy Light" by +400%, and also increases the SP cost for the skill by +400%. This can make Holy Light to deadly weapon. With decent Equipment you can kill people with it quit easily (or Monsters). However, there a few downsides to that. It is more of an "Surprise" tactic. Mostly all Priests do play support, so most people don't expect you to attack, if your are not already infamous for that. And that's where the biggest downside comes in play. Once the enemy knows you might gonna attack them, they can either start wearing "Maya Card" to reflect your attack or simply just start wear an Holy Armor, making you miss them. In conclusion, it's a handy side option to pick off people off guard (people with no shield like Sniper/Gunslinger, or a Breaker in breaking attempt), but personally I wouldn't recommend it as soley way to go. Kaite Kaite is one of the main Buffs a Soul Linker can give. It reflects magical damage, but also Heal. You can't heal a Target that got buffed with Kaite. ========== Breakers and you ========== High Priests play a very important role on defending castles in WoE, especially the Emperium. The Emperium is a Small, Angel "Monster" with Holy Property. Your main job will be the keep the HP of the Emperium high or full, which you can archive by casting Sanctuary under it. If a Breaker attacks it, usually either a Assassin Cross, Sniper or Stalker, you commonly can stop him by Aspersio him. His attack will become Holy, therefor missing the Emperium. -- Side note: on the old rro, Breakers commonly used the Berzerk effect of "Lord Knight Card" to boost their damage. However while in Berzerk, they can't use Skills or Itemsm which made them the perfect target of being Aspersio'ed. They couldn't change their Weapon Property, if they didn't got dispelled. Nowdays, LKC is a pretty rare card, so you will most likely not face that. -- However, Breakers (sometimes) are also smart. If they are using an "Evil Druide Card", their Property becomes Undead. You can't Aspersio them. The only solution to that is depending on who attacks and how the conditions are. If a Assassin or Stalker melee attacks, you can only spam Safety Wall on the Emperium to protect it. If a Sniper or Stalker attacks it with a Bow, use Pneuma. Both will not work tho if there is a Landprotector under the Emperium. You can protect the Emperium with a Square of 4 Safety Walls. One Pneuma on it directly should be enough to protect it from range attacks. If the Breaker starts to attack you while his Weapon is Holy Property you can also change your Armor to Holy. He will miss on you as well then. Alternatively you can get a PD set when defending the Emperium. For breaking they use simple Melee Crit lock, they will miss on you if they not use skills. Killing a breaker can be difficult as a pure support, since you will be either busy Spam Safety Wall/Pneuma on Emperium or Aspersio to prevent as much damage as possible. Tho, if they are Undead Property, Turn Undead or simple Resurrection will hurt them a lot. Picture down below shows the usage of a PD set to avoid damage from a Assassin Cross (who apparently has not much brain /jk). ========== Mora Items and you ========== Mora Dailies is a neat little time killer, the coins used for the several NPCs in Mora can be obtained by doing some small tasks for them or doing the Mistwood instance. A detailed view of all the items in Mora can be found here. The most interesting one of the Priest items is probably the "Light of Cure", because it can be enchanted with Cure Lv1 - Highness Heal. Beside that the Mora NPCs also provide the "Affection" Set to improve Priests heal powers. NOTE: The Highness Heal will not be available as a stand-alone Skill. It will be an auto cast effect on yourself. Light of Cure [1] - VIT +2, INT +2, DEX +2, Increase Heal Potency +5%. (Possible Enchants include: INT +1/+2, Mdef +6, DEX +1/+2, VIT +1/+2, HP +500, ATK +2% and Cure Lv1) Highness Heal (Lv5) - Doubles the healing amount of your Heal on Lv1. ========== Common Gears to use as High Priest ========== I will here only list items that are directly usable as Priest, not general good tanking items or things everyone can use. Increase Sanctuary Heal Potency by "Sanctuary Power" rate%. Sanctuary Power: All Players will be buffed with "Increase Agility" and "Blessing" (at the Lv you know) if they step into your Sanctuary. Kiel-D-01 - Reduces ACD -30%. Other Heal3 Orb - Increase Heal Potency +3% (Enchant for cedi items, expect GO-set and Wings) ========== Gear Set Examples and you ========== Note: Currently I am not maining my High Priest, beside doing some supportive stuff in instances. So the more WoE Oriented suggestions aren't optimal carded. Left Image: Example for a tanky Demi-Resist set up, Cure of Light can we switched for Asteria for the AoE Heal. Right Image: PD Focused set for facing Crit lock (mostly SinX). LWW with Gemini-S58 Card. NOTE: Gloria is active, Schwartzwald Pine Jubilee is active. Example for PVM, supporting in instances such as RDC or Cedi. Tho, frankly, if your team is good and knows what it does, you not really need "special" items for such stuff. Just be prepared in case the world goes down and you need to do more then Buff and the Heal here and there. LWW here with Mistress Card. NOTE: on stats for PvM, non-donor item areas, if you are switching from donor items, make sure you got enough DEX for the instant cast. 😜 Example for high Heal focused. NOTE: Blessing is active. Also, Bible of Promise, Light of Cure and Diablous Ring don't matter much in adding up the heal number. The only thing that would increase it now be Regeneration Potion and INT increasing items/gears. ========== Conclusion ========== High Priest is a highly demanded support class for all their buffs and Heal abilities, tho for most people it can be a boring experience, since you mostly just sit there and watch other people do the killing. So kinda need to be the "support" player to keep on enjoying playing it. Furthermore, people tend to keep pushing the blame on you if they die. But don't worry too much about it, if you know you did a decent job (and not stand there like a afk-bot or put wrong Buffs everywhere). And also, it can be a satisfying feeling when your team wins or holds the castles because of a decent support. :3
  4. ========== "Are you ready to rock?" Performers ... and you ========== IGN: yandereQueen, g c q, Scilla, Shikabane no Odori and many more ========== Overview ========== Clown (also known as Minstrel) and Gypsy are the alternate path you can choose when being an Archer. Usually they fill in support roles, but are also able to kill the enemy. Their main task is to be as annoying as possible for the enemy. ========== Skills ========== -- Explanation: Primary Clown skills/items will be indicated with Blue, Primary Gypsy skills/items with Pink. -- -- (LvX/Varies) shows the maximum level a skill can have. Pang Voice inflict Chaos on the Target, Wink of Charm inflict Confusion on the Target. Solo Songs: -- Music Lesson / Dancing Lesson in general affect the Bonus the songs give -- Dissonance (Lv5) and Ugly Dance (Lv5) - Continuously deals Damage to enemies in range. Dissonance drains HP, Ugly Dance drains SP. Dissonance also can be used to reveal hidden enemies. Whistle (Lv10) - Increases Flee and PD of the players within the songs range. AGI affects the Flee bonus, LUK the PD bonus. Assassin Cross o Sunset (Lv10) - Increases ASPD. AGI affects the bonus. Apple of Idunn (short: -usually- Apple) (Lv10) - Increases the HP of the Party member within song range, also recovers a small amount of HP over time. VIT affects the bonus. Poem of Bragi (short: Bragi) (Lv10) - Reduces Casting Time and After Cast Delay of the Players within range. DEX affects the Cast Time reduction, INT affects the ACD. Humming (Lv10) - Increases HIT, DEX affects the bonus. Please don't forget me (short: PDFM) (Lv10) - Decreases ASPD and walking speed of the enemies within the songs range. DEX affects the ASPD reduction, AGI the walking speed reduction. Service for you (Lv10) - Increases maximum SP and reduces the SP used for skills. Both are affected by the casters INT. Fortune's Kiss (Lv10) - Increase CRIT rate of all users within range, LUK affects the bonus. Ensemble Songs: -- All Ensemble Songs need a Gypsy and Clown to be in the same party, and standing next to each other. They both need a Instrument/Whip. They also both need to know the song. -- -- Since Ensemble songs aren't really used in the server, I will only cover up the most used ones and mention the rest. If you want to know more detail about the other songs, use wiki or rms. -- Invulnerable Siegfried (Lv5) - (on max lv) Gives 80% Elemental resistance and 50% resistance to Status for the Party in the AOE. Loki's Veil (Lv1) - Skills can't be used within the songs range. Drum of Battlefield (Lv5) - Increases the Parties ATK and DEF. Other Ensemble Songs are: Lullaby, Into the Abyss, Eternal Chaos, Mr. Kim A Rich Man, The Ring of Nibelungen and Moonlit Water Mill. ========== Soul Linkers and you ========== Soul Linkers are very important for Performers because they can give you a great support with their "Bard and Dancer Spirit". TIP: for using alts to link yourself or for Soul Linker, if you Friend the Clown/Gypsy you can easy Link them by just use the skill and click in the Friend window without the hassle of finding them in the crowd. What does that mean "being linked"? When you are linked, all the songs you play will also affect you. Means you obtain the Cast reduction/ACD reduction from Bragi or the HP bonus from Apple. HOWEVER, this also means you get the negative effect (not PDFM), like from Loki's Veil. If you are linked and use Loki's Veil, you cannot use skills within it. If you aren't linked, you can use skills within it. The Link also increases your walking speed while playing a song. And the Link also "links" the songs of both Performer branches (if the songs are lv10). This basically means, if you are a Gypsy, you know Fortune's Kiss Lv10 and you get Soul linked, you know can use Poem of Bragi. And vice versa for Clowns. Whistle <==> Humming Assassin Cross of Sunset <==> Please don't forget me Apple of Idunn <==> Service for you Poem of Bragi <==> Fortune's Kiss Linked songs can be found in your "ETC" tab of the skill window. ========== Tarot Card of Fate and you ========== Probably one of the most infamous skills of the class is the Tarot card of Fate, mostly just short called "Tarot". The skill contains 14 cards, with different effects. A list of them with pictures can be found here: https://irowiki.org/wiki/Tarot_Card_of_Fate (or on the revival wiki) The most effective cards being: The High Priestess - Removes all buffs (similar Gospel effect) The Death - Causes Coma (if not immune), HP/SP will be set to 1 and other status The Chariot - Randomly breaks a Equipment (ignoring FCP) The Wheel of Fortune - Causes randomly 2 other card effects ========== Tarot Card of Hope and you ========== Tarot Card of Hope is a custom skill/Quest for Clowns and Gypsies: http://wiki.ragnarevival.com/wiki/Tarot_Card_of_Hope_Quest To start the Quest you need to have maximum Reputation. Once you gained the Skill, you can add more card effects by using items monsters drop. Currently there are 8 cards in game, "The Trickster" and "The Courage" you will obtain when you finish the quest. "The Clown", "The Cardinal", "The Cart", "The Entwined", "The Angel" and "The Wildness" are dropped by different monsters. ========== Touhou Hats and you ========== Touhou Lucky boxes provide several different hats for the main classes of the game. The hat for Clowns is Lyrica Hat [2] and the one for Gypsy Night Sparrow Hat [2]. Lyrica Hat [2] upgrades Pang Voice to Throe Voice if refined to +7. The effect changes to forcefully making the Target and surrounding enemies sit down. This is pretty handy in slowing enemies down so your teammates can take better care of them. Considered a stable item for Clowns (at +7). Night Sparrow Hat [2] upgrades Wink of Charm to Charming Kiss at a refine of +7. Charming Kiss makes it impossible for the Target to attack you. You can only charm one Player at a time tho. ========== Third Job Skill Hats and you ========== During Sale periods, Third Job Skill hats got released in the Cash shop, these were 30c back then and had the sprites of the headgears you usually obtained when job changing into a third class. -- as of right now writing this guide, I can't find the specific effects of the songs (with possible modifications for Loki) in Forums, Wiki or per @id in game, so I will just mention them. -- Dying Swan Granted the Skills Moonlight Serenade and Symphony of Lovers. Maestro Song's Hat Enabled the use of Windmill Rush and Echo Song. ========== Performer in WoE ... and you ========== As already mention, the main role of Performer, Clown and Gypsy, is more focused on being supportive and annoying to handle for your enemy. Main Tasks: Play songs, make sure your Teammates are buffed; Slow down enemies with either PDFM, Scream or Frost Joke; Help killing with Tarot. Playing Songs Sadly due to the new client, songs won't have a visual effect as before. Older Players might have a better feeling for who is still in song range and who not, then newer players to the class. The only "indicator" that someone is under the songs effect is now, that they have a glow. Different songs have different colored glows, Idunn is green, Service has a more pink glow. The Songs effect range is 5x5 around the caster. Songs like Poem of Bragi also effect the enemy. Make sure you stop them so you won't give your enemy a free buff. Flashing Songs "Flashing Songs" means the quick cast of multiple songs after another. Usually, if you just keep one song up, it's effect will stay for 3min. However, when you cancel and start another song, this duration will reduce to 20sec. You can flash all songs and give your team quick buffs, this is especially handy in Urgent Calls in WoE. Flashing can be done in two ways, the most commonly one in this Server is by using Adaptation (since it has no delay). The second method be by equipping another weapon (not Instrument/Whip), the song will get canceled, you can re-equip your Instrument, play a new song and repeat. No matter how you wanna proceed on quick changing your songs, make sure you set your hotkeys the most comfortable for yourself. Stat Affection on Songs The buffs the different songs give depend usually on the level of Music/ Dancing Lesson you learned and your own stats (base + bonus). You can set those stats as high as you want, but the INT and DEX bonus used in Poem of Bragi always gonna be capped at 150 INT and 120 DEX. Due to the calculation formula using Dancing/ Music Lesson, songs you not originally learned (linked ones), like Gypsy getting Bragi or a Clown getting Service for you, will always be weaker. Under the following will be a example. If you want to know details about the other songs, refer to the revival wiki. Apple of Idunn https://wiki.ragnarevival.com/wiki/The_Apple_of_Idun A Clown with 180 VIT will give 53% max HP and recover 225 HP, a Gypsy with the same VIT will give 43% max HP and recover 175 HP. Helping Guild members, Trolling around Performer got plenty of ways to slow down enemies and inflict all kinds of status on them. If an enemy tries to run away or rush in, you can PDFM him. People with less status immunity (Pure Glass canon Killers, or some Paladin) will be heavily affected by Frost Joker/Scream. Silence, Stone Curse and Freeze can make them stop attack. Usually Targets with Tao Gunka or Ghostring freeze. TIP: Teaming up with Creator/Champion. Facing those, some enemies tend to tank them with Ghostring, but then they will also freeze to your Joke. If everyone is buffed up with songs, including yourself you can make yourself useful by spamming Tarot on the enemy and hope of getting good card effects. Parties Generally it is ok for you to be in a party, in fact if you wanna use Ensemble Skills, you must be in one (Ensemble skill effects only include the party). However, if you wanna focus on Joke/Scream, you need to consider that it will affect also your party. If someone isn’t Freeze immune, you will freeze him constantly. That’s why you might need to be party-less if doing that. ========== Stats, Consumables, Gears ... and you ========== Stats -- Left picture is a more Demi-Human/PD focused build, the picture on the right a Flee build with AGI that allows Cloaking. -- In general it's good to go with LUK for some decent PD. Min. 80 VIT and 90 AGI for the Gemini-Card effect. 150 DEX and INT for maximum Bragi bonus. STR to hold items like Potions. Alternatively you can go for a more Flee oriented build, with Fox Ears (which grants Cloaking skill with 250 AGI). Flee gives you a chance to evade skill attacks (which not include magic), Perfect Dodge gives you the chance to evade melee attacks, to the point that with 100 PD and more your enemy will completely miss you. Consumables Condensed White Potions - Main HP heal item in WoE, gives 50% more heal if you use Potion made by one of the top 10 ranked Creators (/alchemist) Blue Potion - Main SP heal item, also gives 50% bonus if the Creator is ranked Panacea - Cures abnormal status Speed Potion / Box of Thunder - Increases Walking Speed for a short period, perfect to come back to your team or escape enemies Elemental Proof Potions - Depending on the resist you desire, they give you 20% on either Fire, Water, Wind or Earth Schwartzwald Pine Jubilee - Gives you 20 PD for 10min Holy Elemental Scroll - Enchants Armor with Holy Property Big Magic Defense Potion / Big Defense Potion - +3% resistance to Magical/ Physical attacks Butterfly Wing - You can't use @return in WoE (tho @go works, if your spawn is set on a close @go point, you don't need that) Arrows - Shadow/Holy/Earth or a Status Arrow always can be handy in case you need to attack Gears/Equipment Under the following I will list useful Items, alternatives for gears. You will not need every single piece but it's always nice to have options. I will also include Cards. -- Left, Demi-Human Resist and PD focus; Right, Flee with cloaking from Fox Ears. -- Headgear options Antique Helm [2] - Can be set with different effects, check wiki for "Antique" to see the full options. This one has Demi-Human Resist 10%, Neutral Resist 5%, Max HP 10% and Intravision. Event Coppola [2] - All Stats +10, Matk/Atk +10%, Demi-Human Resist 10% Healer's Heart Hat [2] - Bleeding/Silence Resist +50%, Demi-Human Resist 10%, 15% more Healing on you Fox Ears [4] - PD +5, Crit +20, Flee +130, DEX +30, If AGI 250> grants Cloaking Lv3 ======== Large White Angelwings [1] - Decrease taken damage by 10%, 10% more Healing on you, PD +10 Wing Headphones [1] - VIT +10, STR +5, INT +5, Nullifies HP Regen, Demi-Human Resist 10% Fable Silks [1] - Soul Links you with your class effect, ACD +10%, increase damage from all by 20% (basically any donor mid is good to go, People usually go for "Speed Wings" or whatever fancy item is currently on sale) Elegant Wings [4] - All Stats +15, Flee +40, PD +5, Hit +30 Rose Ring [4] - All Stats +25, Movement Speed +25% (Speed Wings Example) ======== (basically any donor lower goes, depending on what you prefer/need) Panda Rucksack [1] - All Stats +10, Chance on inflicting "Deep Sleep" on attacker if being hit Poring Balloon [1] - All Stats +15, Resistance to all Status +10% ("Balloons", is a series of similar Gears with the same effect) Poring Pipe [1] - All Stats +10, Demi-Human Resist 3% Fuzzy Bunny Scarf [0] - Resistance to all Elements 5% Honoray Bunny Mouth [0] - Blind/Silence Immunity, Water Resist 10% ======== Gemini-S58 Card - Stun/Silence Resist +30% if AGI 90>, Stone/Sleep Resist +50% if VIT 80> Giearth Card - Chaos Immunity, Earth Resist +15% Marduk Card - Silence Immunity Orc Hero Card - Stun Immunity, VIT +3 Evil Snake Lord Card - Blind/Curse Immunity, INT +3 Leaf Cat Card / Leib Olmai Card / Giant Hornet Card / Permeter Card - Water Resist +10% / Fire Resist +10% / Wind Resist +10% / Shadow, Undead Resist 15% Maya Purple Card - Intravision Which cards you use in your headgears depends on your needs and what works the best for you. I personally prefer status immunities over Elemental resistance. I use 3 Gemini Cards to gain immunity to the most status (in combo with my Pet that gives 10% to all, you can archive the same with a "Balloon" lower). While Fable Silks permanently links you with your class link (until you die), it is more of an emergency item. You will take more damage from all sources if you wear it, so it's really suitable in a heavy combat situation. Armor options WoE Suit [1] - Mdef +5, PD +10, Water Resist +10%, Atk +5%; Refine +5: 15% more Healing on you; Refine +8: Max HP 20% (WoE Set Bonus) Demi-Human Resist +20%, Damage on Demi +10%, 5% more Healing on you Siege Suit [1] - Mdef +4, Medium Resist +3%; Refine +5: PD +5, Long-Range Resist +10%; Refine +8: Max HP +5% (Siege Set Bonus) Dex +5, Demi-Human Resist +7% Tidung [1] - Mdef +10, decrease damage from all by 10%, Stun/Freeze Resist +50% Great Old Hauberk [0] - PD +10, Max HP/SP +20%, ACD -10%, Mdef +10, Atk/MAtk +5%, Crit +5, Hit +10, Igonres Enemies Mdef by 10%, Freeze Immunity, Water/Neutral Resist +10%, Unbreakable, Unstrippable Orc Knight Plate [1] - 10% of ignoring all melee damage, Flee +75, Earth Resist +10%, Mdef Bonus with refine Variegated Vest [1] - Enables usage of Warm Wind Lv4, Unbreakable, Unstrippable, Max HP/SP +10% per 1% refines, DEF +1 per 2 refines, Mdef +1 per refines Valkyrian Armor [1] - All Stat +1, Unbreakable, Silence Resist +50% ======== Grand Marin Card - Unbreakable, Freeze Immunity Grand Ghostring Card - Unbreakable, Enchants Armor with Ghost Ghostring Card - HP Recovery -25%, Enchants Armor with Ghost Gioia Card - Mdef +10, Freeze Immunity Marc Card - Freeze Immunity, Water Resist +5% Detardeurus Card (Detale Card) - Mdef -20, Chance of casting Land Protector Lv1 on yourself when being magically attacked, Freeze Immunity As you might can guess from the card choices, Freeze immunity is always a good thing to have. It makes you more independent in your movement, you don't need being hit from enemy or Priest Recovery from getting out of it. Garment Options WoE Manteau [1] - Mdef +5, All Element Resist +1% per refine, Max HP/SP +1% per refine, Demi Resist +1% per 2 refines (WoE Set Combo) Siege Muffler [1] - Mdef +7, Medium Resist +3% (Siege Set Combo) Valkyrian Manteau [1] - Unbreakable, PD +[5+(refine*2)] --Example, +10 be PD +25-- Caliginous Cloak [1] - All Element Resist +5%, PD +5, Max HP/SP +1% per refine, Mdef +5, Unbreakable, Unstrippable Wool Scarf [1] - Mdef +4 (Tidal Shoes Combo) Max HP +10% --Commonly used for Melanis Enchants-- ======== Raydric Card - Neutral Resist +20% Polistes Card - Close Range Resist +10%, Neutral Resist +10% Noxious Card - Long Range Resist +10%, Neutral Resist -10% Nobby the Novice Card - Flee +40, PD +8, Neutral Resist +10% Deviling Card - Neutral Resist +50%, All Other Element Resist -50% Jakk Card/ Dustiness Card/ Marse Card/ Hode Card - Fire Resist +30%/ Wind Resist +30%/ Water Resist +30%/ Earth Resist +30%/ (All of them) Flee +5 Leak Card - STR +3, Chance of causing Confusion when doing physical/magical damage Garment Cards usually aim for Resistance, if you want to be prepared for any situation you gonna need to get a few ready. Leak Card is one neat choice for Trolling, because it combos with Frost Joke/Scream. Meaning you can confuse your enemy while using these Skills on a safe spot. Shoes Options WoE Boots [1] - Mdef +5, AGI +10, Max HP +1,5% per refine, Reduce Magic damage by 1% per 2 refines (WoE Set Combo) Siege Boots [1] - Mdef +3, Medium Resist +3% (Siege Set Combo) Apache Coated Boots [1] - Mdef +5, Water and Earth Resist +10% (Puff Eye Ring Combo) Resist increase to 20% Tidal Shoes [1] - Water Resist +5%, HP Recovery +5% (Wool Scarf Combo) --Commonly used for Melanis Enchants-- Ebony Greaves [1] - Mdef +5, AGI +10, Max HP/SP +1,5% per refine, 10% Movement Speed, Unbreakable, Unstrippable Footgear Antique [1] - Can be set with different effects, check wiki for "Antique" to see the full options. This one has Max HP +10%, ACD -5%, Movement Speed +15%, No Knockback Valkyrian Shoes [1] - Undestroyable, Max HP +(Base Lvl*80) ======== General Egnigem Card (GEC) - Max SP/HP +10%, Max HP +150 / Max SP +10(per Base Lvl), Restores 500 HP and 25 SP per sec Apache Tear Card - Max SP/HP +10%, Additional HP/SP per Base Lvl, Restores 500 HP and 25 SP per 2sec, Reduces HP/SP Recover rate by 50% Amon Ra Card - All Stat +3, Adds chance on casting Kyrie Elesion Lv10 based on your INT On Shoes the card options aren't that big, usually people go for GEC in terms of tanking. Amon Ra is more a gimmicky side option if you got decent INT investment. Weapon Options Ralph's Requinto [3] / Vanessa's Stockwhip [3] - INT +5; DEX +5, Increase Damage on Medium +2*(Dancing/Music LessonLv)%, Tarot Card of Fate +2Lv, Chance of casting Tarot Lv10 on enemy when using Arrow Vulcan Solid Guitar [0] / Solid Whip [0] - Atk +30%, PD + 10+(RefineLvl) Ukulele of New Oz [2] / Bloody Floral Decorated Microphone [2] - DEX +5, INT +3, Max HP +1% per 2 refine, ACD -1% per 2 refine (Combos; Ring New Oz Wing/ Bloody Floral Decoration Bracelet) Ukulele: Frost Joke has small chance of causing Stone Curse /Microphone: Scream has small chance to cause Freeze Green Whistle [3] / Stem Whip [3] - INT +5, ACD -2% per refine, SP usage -0,5% per refine Amorous Narcissist [3] / Dragobete's Rope [3] - DEX +3, ASPD +2, ATK +1% per refine (Specialty Bonus) Amorous: Small chance that Frost Joke inflicts Cold; Dragobete: Small chance that Scream will decrease Movement Speed Combat Knife [0] - Demi Resist +10%, Pierces Demi defense Creeper Bow [2] - DEX +1, Chance of casting Spider Web lv1 on target when attacking ======== Golem Card - ATK +5, Unbreakable Little Fatum Card - Chance of causing Silence when doing magical damage Drake Card - 2% chance of causing Critical Wounds on physical attack Lord of The Dead Card - 0,1% chance of Coma, 50% chance of Stun, Curse, Silence, Poison or Bleeding Valkyrie Rangris Card - 1% chance of castig Dispell Lv1 when attacking, Unbreakable, ATK +10% There are plenty of more "Status" cards you can choose from, I just named the mainly used ones. On the Bow department, I also just picked the one I use. I am usually not a Killer, so I don't have expereience on what's the best there. Ralph's and Vannessa's Weapon are the best choice if you want to spam Tarot a lot. The 2 additional levels mean that your Tarot has a success chance of 56%. For the Trolling, Little Fatum Card has the same synergy as Leak Card. It works with Frost Joke/Scream, so it is almost a stable choice in any weapon if you want to use that skill. I just use Golem card because I am lazy FCP. Shield Options Immune Shield [1] - Refine +5: Neutral Resist +1% per refine; Refine +7: Neutral Resist +5%; Refine +10: Water, Wind, Earth, Fire Resist +10% Antiquated Shield [1] - Wind, Earth, Holy, Poison Resist +20%, Mdef +5 Valkyrja's Shield [1] - Water, Fire, Undead, Shadow Resist +20%, Mdef +5 Shield Antique [1] - Can be set with different effects, check wiki for "Antique" to see the full options. This one has Neutral +2%, Long Range Resist +6%, Non-Boss Resist +10%, Magic Resist 6% Vigilante Shield [1] - All Element Resist +10%, 10% Chance of ignoring any damage, Reduces damage from all attacks by 10%, ATK/Matk/Flee/PD/Hit -50%, Increase AD ACD, Reduces ASPD ======== Thara Frog Card - Demi Resist +30% Horn Card - Long Range Resist +35% Maya Card - 50% chance to reflect single target magic Golden Thiefbug Card - Magical damage -60%, SP consumption +60%; Dispell Immunity and prevents several debuffs Toaster Card - Normal Monster Resist +30%, Boss Monster Resist -10% Yuki Card - Reduces Physical damage by 35% Best get to go card in every WoE/Pvp scenario is Thara Frog. Other things can be optional used, like Maya if you know your enemy single targets you alot and want to let him pay for that. For the Shields, there are also plenty more to chose from, as always just the mostly common ones. Accessory Options Sound Amplifier [1] - Grants extra 2Lvl on Frost Joke/Scream Ring New Oz Wing [1] / Bloody Floral Decoration Baraclet [1] - Grants 1Lvl on Music/ Dancing Lesson (Combo Part) --2 of them stack-- Puff Eye Ring [1] - Posion Resist +10% (Combo Part) Wind Resist +10% Grendal's Gloves [1] - Grants the use of Repair Weapon. Resplendent Ring [1] - Matk +125, SP usage -25%, ACD -5% --Mainly used with Cedi Orb Enchants-- Clip-on Fringe [1] - Mdef +5, Earth Resist +5%, chance of casting skills when being hit Kraken's Tooth Necklace [0] - DEF +5, Water Resist +5%, chance of casting skills when being hit Seth's Pride [1] - Mdef +5, Holy Resist +5%, chance of casting skills when being hit Great Demon's Shackles [2] - Resist to all races +5%, takes both Accessory slots Vendor's Clip [1] -Resist to all races +3%, Enables usage of Pushcart Lv10, Change Cart and Vending Lv3 Glorious Ring [0] - HP +300; Water, Wind, Fire and Earth Resist +10%, ASPD +5%, Cast Reduction 3% ======== Yoyo Card - PD +5, AGI +1 Alligator Card - Long Range Resist +5% Horong Card - Enables usage of Sight lv1 PoPoring Card - Enables usage of Detoxify lv1 Errende Ebecee Card - 5% Chance of casting Pneuma lv1 on wearer if physically attacked Accessories have plenty of options, cards usually aim to help you tank, like Alligator or Errende. If you want to focus on Frost Joke/ Scream Ampifier is a good choice. The Music/ Dance Lesson bonus from New Oz and Bloody is also very nice. Pet Options (loyal effects) Menblatt Pet - Magical/Physical Resist 5%, Chance of casting Safety Wall on self, Status Resist 10% Brony Pet - Max HP +1500, PD +10, Flee -10 Alice Pet - Mdef +3, Demi Resist +3% Hunter Fly Pet - Flee -15, PD +7 Whisper Pet - Flee +5% Whichever you prefer, adding more PD, Resist or Flee. ========== Conclusion ========== Clown and Gypsy and be a lot of fun to play, but if you want to be a pure support, your effectiveness depends a lot on your teammates. Sadly, mostly due to the Songs Bragi and Whistle, and to the fact that Stone Curse resistance is far more common then Freeze (on some classes), Gypsy is devastatingly outclassed by Clown. But Gypsy still can be fun too, especially in non-donor WoE.
