  1. Welcome to another post about guides in RevivalRO. This time let’s talk about the chat box where all of us usually post. I write this guide in hopes that it would help every single player out there to minimize the possible number of #mutes and #keyboardrage . Let’s get started on this everyone. The picture above is our typical chat box. At the moment when I posted this picture most players are chatting on one of the channels which is #trade (perhaps other people are still sleeping while I am writing this guide). There are also other channels which we should all be familiar. The picture above shows the different channels we can all access. Also, I took this screenshot from the Settings NPC in prontera. The Settings NPC allows us to turn on/off a certain channel until a time comes we want to adjust it again. This means that once the player adjusted the channels in Settings NPC, even if the player logged out or log in, it would still be the same unless he/she wishes to change it. It is different from @part #[name of channel] in the sense that the latter command will be reset upon log in. Again if the player so wishes to disable a certain channel and have it return back to normal type @part #[name of channel]. Whereas if the player wishes to adjust the channels appearance on the chat box until a certain time he/she wishes to do so, go to the Settings NPC in Prontera. Now let’s discuss how we can play with the chat box to our convenience. In this picture we have the chat box tabs. The purpose of this is that it allows us players to transfer from one tab to another and we can segregate the chats we want to see. So how do we filter/segregate the chat messages we want to see? The picture above is the image of the buttons of the chat box found on the upper right corner of the chat box. The first button on the left allows the player to lock the chat box and allows the player to use the BM settings for battle mode such as the picture below Meanwhile the next button (button number 2 - round button), allows the player to open a window for adjusting chat filters - which message from certain channel does a player want to see on tab 1? Tab 2? Etc. As for the third button, the one that has >>, it allows the player to move a specific tab of the chat box to another part of your RevivalRO window. It separates the tab from the rest of all the other tabs just like in the image below. However, if the player wishes to return it back to normal, the player needs to click on the << icon from the separated tab. Just make sure that the last button or the chat lock button is unlocked so that the player can move the tabs. If the player doesn’t want the tabs to move, just lock the chat box using the sixth button - the lock button. Now onto the fourth button, the + or add tab button, it is as its name states. It adds another tab to the existing tabs on the chat box. If the player wishes to reduce the tabs in the chat box, then the fifth button or the - or minus tab button is the one to be clicked. And last but not the least, the sixth button or the lock/unlock button is the players key to safely lock and prevent any unwanted changes on the positions and number of tabs in the chat box. It also allows the player to unlock and make changes to the position and number of the tabs in the chat box. That’s all there is to the chat box. I hope it is helpful to the players out there who have difficulties or concerns when it comes to managing chat box. Feel free to post any comments or suggestions. Have a great day.
